did you know this? 👀 and would more packaging breakdowns be useful? let me know below!

also @bolfoods, this soup is soooo delicious by the way. highly recommend 😂🤝

but even with a great product, it’s worth checking what those big numbers on the front actually refer to.

brands are businesses, and the packaging needs to sell the product. so let’s get a little savvy 🤓

is that protein number for the whole pack or one serving? and how does their suggested serving compare with what you actually eat?

high-protein marketing isn’t going anywhere, and i reckon we’ll see plenty more high-fibre claims too.

a quick flip of the pack helps you understand what you’re getting.

and remember: their serving suggestion doesn’t have to be your portion. both kinder bueno fingers are getting eaten xxxx

🛒 Sainsbury’s is having a moment!

Look how many new products are popping up on our shelves with better, more recognisable ingredients! 👏🏼 We love to see it!

AND everything I shared in last week’s Sainsbury’s Nectar finds is STILL on offer. Double whammy! 🙌🏼

Save this for your next shop!💛

Thank you so much for the delicious lunch @bolfoods to try your newbie soups. With amazing food from @iona_cooks_, drinks from @luckysaintbeer, wonderful company and a good sneak into what’s behind the scenes after I spoke with BOL foods founder Paul (S4 Ep2) on the pod. WHAT FUN 🥦🫛🫑🌽🥬🫜🫚

Sweet potato, coconut & chilli and three bean chilli - both packed with fibre. Give those babies a try 🌶️

Simple ingredients, completely elevated. 🍞

When lunchtime calls for comfort without the fuss, it’s all about high-quality basics.

Take a thick slice of toasted artisan sourdough from Hambleton Bakery, layer on rich, melted local cheddar, and finish with a drizzle of sweet local honey and freshly cracked black pepper.

Pair with a bowl of warm seasonal soup for the ultimate rainy day pick-me-up.

📍 Find your artisan bakery loaves and deli cheeses at Highlands St Ives and Highfields Caldecote.
