@the_superstition seminar “Black and Gray quality and textures” @paradisetattoogathering 2024 with @jonmesatattoos @luismiguel_ta2 @tobylinwood @nishasupahan @studiopulitano @kjaketattoo @d.r_tattoos @thejorell @kingtattooinks @nicolederoytattoos @lilith_tattoos ..from what I remember was a deeper dive into saturation and the quality of fades and shades, textures vs smooth, ways of achieving that, you know, machines and needles, those kind of things..

Happy one year to me tattooing on real skin!!! On September 17th 2024 I did my first ever tattoo on one of my close friends @angelllms_47 🥰

This past year has been insane. Here’s a little trip down memory lane and a collection of most of my tattoo firsts!! 🧐

Graduating art school I never thought I would be a full time self employed artist. Though I frequently experience burnout and I won’t say this career path is easy, I am still beyond grateful to be where I am today. I feel honored every time someone chooses to get work from me/ reach out.
I know little me would be amazed by the life I live now. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, gotten tattooed by me, liked a TikTok/ reel, commented, recommend me, or has just been silently watching this growth. 🤗

Also I’m so grateful for @bollingerart for being my mentor, and being there every step of the way during this journey. Also thank you to @oostattoo for believing in me and giving me a home base right out of school! 🥰

I’m also so stoked to be surrounded by such cool people and rad artists. Everyday I get to hangout with my best friends and learn from them.
To many more years doing this!!! 🎨

If this is the first time you are coming across me, hello!!! My name is Arenal, I’m a tattoo artist in Eugene Oregon and I would love to work with you! I am booking for October and November 2025!! 🍁🍂

Had to hop on the trend!! 🤭

In college I had such a hard time deciding what field of digital art I wanted to develop my career in. Animation, 3d modeling, interactive digital arts, illustration - I couldn’t pick just one!! I was being told that without a niche it would be a hard journey for me to find my place in the graphic art industry ( not you @6079_smith_w ). Being a concept artist was the only way I could see myself doing it all. If only past me knew I’d find the perfect job for doing it all!!! 😍

Tattoos have always been an interest of mine but I told myself I needed to work in corporate, or with some kind of 9-5 structure. Thankfully I pulled my head out of my ass and realized that this path was perfect for me!! I’ve always loved managing my own schedule and working with people. When I was 13 I convinced myself I was going to be a body painter/ special effects makeup artist simply because working on skin and making art with the body was SO MUCH FUN!! Now my dreams are realized and I get to work on skin every day. 🙌🏻🎉

I am so excited for the future and for all of the work ahead of me. I am also so grateful to every client that has believed in me and given me the chance to pursue my dreams. I’m so glad I chose this path and I can’t wait to keep learning and expanding my knowledge in such an ever developing field. 📚✍🏻

Love you all!!! And thanks to @oostattoo for giving me a chance and @bollingerart for being my down to Earth mentor! ❤️

Tattoo #50 🥳🙌🏻

Second session of the Illidian Stormrage demon hunter from WOW piece!!! So happy with how this is coming along and I am so excited for our last session where we will get to do some glowing green!!! 😍💚

I have technically hit my 50 tattoos and I’m well over my required hours!!!! You’ll be seeing a couple more tattoos from me (had some people I needed to get in before my apprenticeship ended) and then I’ll be taking some time off to make business cards, study for my exam, and get my new station set up! I am so beyond grateful for everyone who came in and supported my journey and to those who are already contacting me about coming back once I’m officially liscenced. It is a dream of mine to make art everyday and @bollingerart and @oostattoo made it happen!!! ❤️

I will be posting soon when my books open again so keep an eye out for that!!! 👀
