POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Over the past few cohorts, I’ve had the honor of supporting 50+ Black founders from product-based brands to powerhouse service providers. Each one has left an imprint on my heart and my purpose.

This role has been deeply personal. It was more than strategy sessions or business plans, it was about showing up with intention, championing dreams, and creating space for growth. I poured in with passion because the mission is real, and the people… from the brilliant women who lead it, to the faculty who teach it, to the founders who live it - YOU made every second meaningful.

While I step away from this chapter, I do so with nothing but gratitude and pride. Wishing the next wave of scholars and advisors clarity, confidence, and continued elevation. You’ve got this. 🖤✨

Do I have your attention?

Good. Swipe right for an announcement!!! The Mary O. | C R E A T I V E online marketplace officially opens May 1st! Starting Monday, you’ll be able to purchase a selection of my work directly from my site. I’ll be debuting my first ever set of LIMITED EDITION art prints — two hand-drawn (pun intended) pieces with a deeply meaningful significance; and a special selection of photography prints that showcase the beauty around me throughout recent years. I’ll continue to update these selections regularly to reflect the different times and spaces I’ve had the privilege to be in.

Opening an online marketplace is a big step for any small business owner because it takes an immense amount of coordination and attention to detail to get everything right. I’ve spent countless hours fine tuning my site to create a user experience that’s simple, clean, intuitive, and visually satisfying. I’ve done mental gymnastics trying to figure out my pricing, printing, shipping, and more.

Perfectionism is paralyzing but if I let that continue to stop me, this marketplace would never see the light of day! I’m giving myself grace by accepting that there will inevitably be some kinks to work out but I’m learning through this process — I’m hoping you all will give me the same grace ☺️ but I welcome any feedback, advice, or issues brought to my attention once the marketplace opens. In the mean time, I’ll take the opportunity to thank you all for your immense and continued support of my creative ventures since 2016 (and for some of you, my whole life). Looking forward to continuing in this new chapter of vulnerability and discovery, together.

With Love,
Mary O. 🤍
