Let's get to know @bombaioficial , the Valencian pop trio formed by Javi Fernández, Vicente Cervera and Ramón García, who will compete in Benidorm Fest 2027, the festival celebrating Spanish music! 🇪🇸

The group's story began in their school days, when the three friends started writing songs together in the Monteolivete neighbourhood of Valencia, where they grew up. Since forming in 2012, they have developed a distinctive sound combining pop, rock, reggae and Latin influences, with the ukulele becoming one of their signature instruments. Their music is all about optimism, friendship and enjoying life.

Bombai achieved nationwide success in 2016 with "Solo si es contigo", featuring Bebe. The song became one of their biggest hits, earning double-platinum certification and helping establish the trio as a familiar name in Spanish pop music.

Over the years, they have continued releasing songs such as "Yo soy libre", "La Habana" and "Llamas", the latter marking a new chapter in their musical journey. In April 2026, they also released "Quédate conmigo hasta el amanecer", another song showcasing their feel-good style and Mediterranean influences.

In 2025, Bombai celebrated their 10th anniversary with the album 10 años contigo, featuring collaborations with artists including Bebe, Coti, Paula Mattheus and Miguel Campello. The project looked back at a decade of music, friendships and unforgettable moments with their fans.

Interestingly, this won't be their first attempt to join Benidorm Fest! The trio had submitted songs for previous editions but had never made it into the final line-up. Now, they have finally secured their place in the 2027 edition, giving them the opportunity to bring their signature positive energy to the Benidorm stage.

Their competing song has yet to be revealed, so we'll have to wait until 17 December to discover what Bombai have prepared for the festival. Could they surprise us with another feel-good anthem? 👀
