🇿🇦It isn’t everyday you get to compose a piece for someone you know and get to play it with the band you conduct. ❤️ A big thank you to @jakob.creutzburg for premiering „Without Pretense“ and for @brassbandvielklang accompanying us on the piece 🎶
I hope to see some familiar faces at the premiere at this year’s Jena Christmas Market opening and don’t forget to come say hi!

Doesn’t have to be boring. Doesn’t have to be perfect. 🎵

🎺🔥 ¿Reconoces este solo? 👀🎷

🔥 Super excited to share a new duo with Kirsi-Marja Harju called Kindling! 🔥

We’re playing next Monday, 12th October at @becco_oslo . Hopefully see some of you there!

Kindling: Two embers glowing together, sparking new ideas through ambient sounds and subtle grooves. Our music slowly unfolds, creating something warm, rhythmic and alive.

Combining the warm brass of euphonium and trumpet with voices and electronics, Kindling explores the meeting point between acoustic and electronic, tradition and modernity, the known and the unknown.

Martin Lee Thomson: euphonium, voice, electronics.
@kigerson : trumpet, voice, electronics.

🔥 Kindling 🔥 12 October @ Becco 19.30

Come and share the first sparks with us!
