This might be one of the more unusual racing chronographs I’ve come across.

The colours take inspiration from circuits and racing liveries, with the Monza and Gulf-inspired versions standing out straight away. But then you notice the bullhead case and that rather unusual trigger pusher.

It’s a lot going on, but that’s kind of the point. Bomberg clearly isn’t aiming for a conventional chronograph here, and I quite like that it doesn’t try to be one.

Would you wear this, or is it a bit too much??

Huge shout-out to @bomberg_in for letting me try my dream watch💙💙💙

Finally got to wear the Tag Heuer Monaco...

It’s one of those watches that looks great in photos, but makes a lot more sense once it’s actually on the wrist. The square case, left-side crown and that unmistakable Monaco design are hard to miss.

Definitely one of the most iconic chronographs in watchmaking.

What's that weird face on the dial?

The Bomberg Ninja is packed with some weird elements — sword-inspired hands, shuriken elements and a whole design language built around the Ninja theme.

Add the unusual Bullhead configuration, and you get a chronograph that's about as far from conventional as you can get.

And the best part? It still fits a regular wrist!

It's one of those watches that grows on you.

Is this what a racing watch should look like?

The Bomberg Apex goes all-in on the idea — racing colours, a packed chronograph dial and even 1/10-second timing.

But that’s also what makes it interesting.

It’s loud. It’s busy. It’s definitely not for everyone.

Personally, I think that works here. What do you think — racing watch done right, or too much?
