I am starting a series dropping clips of all my unsigned music. I started this Instagram page before signing any of my music, partly due to signing some unhealthy contracts with Bondax & partly due to the fact I wanted to know what you lot are feeling as I've got so many ideas on my HD.

I feel like this tune represents the sound of my music, the original sample comes from Les Volcans de La Capital hence why I named the track Volcano.

The track is from 1975 & the original is amazing but after messing around, sending the vocal through the moog with Baz this track started to make sense. It felt like the kind of thing that would get me dancing at a festival so we lent into that sound, sped it up & here it is. This tune means a lot to me, the feeling behind it is about letting people in again & ottas vocal was the perfect sample. Combining her vocal with live elements as well as electronic bits and live recordings captured this emotion in a way I dont believe AI ever could

This feels like a big moment in time. Music is clearly changing drastically with the effects of AI & the social media age.

I’ve been making music for 15 years now, making live music, computer based music, working with orchestra’s & so many amazing vocalists. I’ve made music in loads of different contexts but electronic music has always been my real passion

So today Trust begins, I’ve been nervous yet excited to use such a bold name for dance music but the real reason I’ve called the project Trust is because the same word has been coming up again & again over the last few years as I started to find these ideas coming to me….

Personally trust has come up quite a lot for me, I’ve had moments where I felt like I couldn’t trust myself not to drink or be the person I want to be for others but after time, change in the way I live & sobriety I feel like I’m ready again & ready to do the thing I’ve loved for most of my life

After signing a major deal with Bondax at 17 my whole life has been in this world so to leave for a bit felt like a blessing at first but I realise now after having this time away from music the drive has never been touring, money or even recognition, it’s purely for the love of creating & that is something AI will never be able to replace

I hope trust can bring everyone who loves creating together, whatever your passion or taste is.
