An amazing day spent amongst the fall colors and plenty of Nuevo’s Finest! Our weather conditions were excellent! An Amazing Fall Float!

Fishing was consistent. Despite the presence of 70 other boats and additional walk and wade anglers. Our guide made it happen for us! Consistent in bug swaps, depth andweight! We entertained each section of the river with laughs and plenty of hook sets 🎣

I don’t give the river enough credit. It has supported an infrastructure of recreation and business! With a level of accommodation that I believe may be finding a tipping point. Imagine how this river would fish if it were closed or restricted access for time slots out of the year?

Not to mention other rivers in New Mexico and pressure on their individual ecosystem! Such the Pecos or the entire Rio Chama! I want my kids to see the coops I did, and the Pecos could be an exponential fisheries if resources and management was done efficiently.
