Boat rides, salty hair, and endless blue. The journey is just as epic as the destination.

A short video I managed to capture. Same bird (African Citril) from my previous post. Shot on the balcony of @selah_by_ohr
It’s honestly the greatest feeling to me whenever I capture a perfectly minimalistic photo/video of wildlife. And birds just have a way of perfectly fitting in the frame. I guess it’s just because of how tiny they are.
It’s moments like these that just make me love the raw and untamed places in our country. Simple and beautiful yet the purest form of nature.

There is just this feeling of fulfillment that I get when I photograph a bird with little distractions on the frame.

Please do enjoy this photograph of an African Citril, perching on a banana leaf. Taken at the hills of Morogoro, shot at the balcony of @selah_by_ohr

AN ENTANGLEMENT
The spider was posed on top of a stream beneath it, flowing with water, and that for me symbolized how you might have some hardship beneath you, all you have to do is to stay patient. Trust the process and believe in yourself when the time comes you strike it at the perfectly.
I haven’t posted in a long time and mainly because I’ve been planning on a trip that I’m about to do that will involve, a lot of community projects, travel videos and all that, just to try and show the beauty of our country, hopefully more magic is coming in our way 🤞🏾
Edited on @lightroom shout out to the new Blur feature 🔥#madewithlightroom Image of a spider perched gracefully atop a flowing stream, symbolizing patience and resilience in the face of challenges. The spider's delicate silhouette contrasts against the gentle movement of the water below, capturing a moment of quiet strength and anticipation.

Delayed Gratification: The Kili Story Finale

Our Kilimanjaro journey of a lifetime happened in December, but the magic of its moments lay dormant in my gallery. From the archives, these images have been hidden in my gallery, waiting for the perfect moment to shine. The magic happened through Lightroom, Photoshop, and Canva, bringing those memories back to life.

This is a gentle nudge to all dreamers: let your passions breathe and your art awaken. Let this be a reminder that creativity blooms on its own time. Embrace your passions, dance to your own rhythm, and let your art tell a timeless story. #LightroomMagic#PhotoshopCreations#CanvaArtistry#KilimanjaroAdventure#TanzanianTreasures#MountainMagic

In the spirit of not hoarding your content I present to you.
The Kili Story Pt 2
“From Midday Madness to a Race Against Time:

Starting our hike at 12:30 pm under the Tanzanian sun, we embarked on a whirlwind journey to Mandara Huts. The clock was ticking, with the Marangu gate's deadline at 6 pm looming.

We pushed ourselves beyond limits, reaching Mandara at 2:30 pm, and starting our descent at 3:30 pm. A dash against the clock, racing down in the pouring rain, we made it back by 5:30 pm, drenched and exhilarated.

A journey of endurance, camaraderie, and a touch of craziness. Shoutout to our 60-year-old guide, whose energy and determination left us awestruck. One of the wildest experiences of a lifetime. 🏃‍♂️🏔️💧 #KilimanjaroAdventure #AgainstTheClock #UnforgettableJourney"

“In the heart of Pugo Natural Forest Reserve, I’ve found myself ensnared in the tranquility of this hidden gem, harboring a vault of untold stories and memories. Like the lush forest around me, I, too, have been quietly growing, waiting to share the beauty of life’s mysteries.

As I sit among these ancient trees, I’m reminded of the seasons that have passed, and I realize that just like the changing leaves, I need to shed the reluctance and let my stories cascade like a waterfall onto my feed. It’s time to embrace the digital wilderness and let my experiences be heard.

In a world where we often hide our inner struggles, remember that everyone carries their own unseen burdens. Life can be a winding path, filled with both shadows and sunshine, but within each of us lies the strength and resilience to bloom, just like the wildflowers that adorn this forest.

So, let’s embark on this journey together, sharing not only the beauty of nature but the beauty of our shared humanity. Let’s be a source of inspiration and support for those who may be battling their own emotional or mental battles. Together, we can let our stories serve as a beacon of hope, a reminder that we’re never truly alone in this vast digital forest. 🌿💫 #EmbraceTheJourney #ShareYourStory”

Project Name: The Kili Story Pt.1

We did a day tour up Mount Kili on the 6th December 2022.
It’s a 8Km hike up to the first stop when climbing the mountain through the Marangu route.
We got at the gate late and started our climb around 1Pm. Usually it would take up to 8 hours to go up and back. But since we got there late,(and the exit time out of the gate is 6Pm you pay for another full day if you come back after 6) we had to do the hike in less than 5 hours 😂. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life.
