SON SERRA, Mallorca
@bonvivant_concept

Amid warm textures and sculptural pieces, the More design adds a quiet counterpoint.

In this interior by @bonvivant_concept, alongside the work of @toni.salom, the precision of the lines and the restrained sheen of the metal introduce a nuance that balances the organic with the rigorous.

A Postcard from Palma

A little detour from Ibiza to its equally enchanting sister island, Mallorca. More specifically, Palma, a city I return to often, not only for work but for the quiet inspiration it offers. Rich in texture, layered in history, and full of contemporary flair, Palma is the kind of place where every corner reveals a thoughtful detail.

Here’s a curated list of my favourite places in the city, from architecture to art, interiors to cuisine. Save this for your next island escape.

STAY

Nobis Hotel Palma @nobishotelpalma
Set inside a 12th-century building in the old town, Nobis blends soft minimalism with historic details. Designed by Swedish firm Wingårdhs, it’s calm, elevated, and full of quiet charm.

SEE

La Seu Cathedral
Still one of the most breathtaking sights in the Med. Gaudí’s subtle interventions and the stained glass light play make it a spiritual design moment.

Can Balaguer @canbalaguer
A noble house turned museum, its layered interiors, antique furniture, and slow patina offer a glimpse into Palma’s aristocratic past.

Fundació Miró Mallorca @miromallorca
A peaceful, well-designed space just outside the city. Miró’s studios are preserved and feel like walking into his creative mind. A must for lovers of colour and abstraction.

EAT

Botànic @botanicpalma
Set in Can Bordoy Grand House, this plant-forward restaurant blends health and indulgence. The courtyard is dreamy, quietly theatrical.

De Tokio a Lima @detokioalima
Inside @canalomarhotel , with views of Paseo del Borne. A perfect fusion of Japanese, Peruvian, and Med flavours in an elegant, unfussy setting.

SHOP

Rialto Living @rialto_living
A curated home and lifestyle space, art, furniture, books, and fashion, all with that effortless Palma aesthetic.

Bon Vivant Concept Store @bonvivant_concept
Earthy and minimal, full of tactile homewares and pieces that reflect the island’s soul.

Palma is a city of quiet glamour. Understated, soulful, and full of beautiful contradictions, it has become a constant source of creative fuel. This guide is just a glimpse into the layers that make up its charm.
