It’s been a long time coming ✨

This truly might be my favorite yes yet.

I’m not always someone who says yes easily. I question everything, overthink everything, and usually need to understand exactly where something is going before I begin.

But on a chilly late-night ride to Brooklyn back in March, Bonzai looked at me and said, “You’re playing a gig with me in July.”

I laughed under my breath and said yes somehow.

Since then, something in me has shifted. Music has given a home to a part of my heart I’ve been trying to understand for as long as I can remember.

Now that the night is almost here, I understand what an honor it is to be included in one of Bonzai’s sets, and I truly cannot wait to play my very first gig alongside him.

So come dance with me.

And if you can’t be there, find a way to dance with yourself, whatever that looks like.

Find something that lights you up, even a little, and follow it without needing to know where it will lead.

For me, it started with buying a coloring book and remembering how much I used to love being creative before I somehow stopped.

Buy the coloring book.
Pick up the pen.
Start the journal.
Read the book.
Paint the pottery.

Make something.

You may find that art leads you back to a part of yourself you didn’t realize you were missing.
