Hosting yesterday’s event for @vadchocolate Chocolate Artisan was truly a blessing. I’m so grateful and honored to have been given the space to present their craft in the way I’ve always envisioned — and this concept finally felt right for me.

We brought this experience to life at @capkuwait , one of Kuwait’s most iconic art platforms, and every detail was designed and created with Albaaz. He transformed my vision into reality and added so much depth to it — collaborating together has been an honor.

The event was chic, artistic, and beautifully understood. People connected with the pieces, absorbed the story, and enjoyed the experience.
Because art is a universal language, and I’m so thankful this idea came to life.

امس استضفت فعالية VAD Chocolate Artisan وكانت من أروع التجارب. ممتن الصراحة إنهم عطوني المساحة أقدّم شغلهم بالطريقة اللي دايم أحلم فيها—والكونسبت هالمرة كان وايد يشبهني.

سوّينا الفعالية بـ CAP، أحد أهم منصات الفن بالكويت، وكل التفاصيل كانت بتصميم وتنفيذ @byalbaz . هذا الإنسان عبقري، حول رؤيتي لواقع وأضاف لها شي كبير. فخور إنه التعاون أخيرًا صار.

الحدث كان راقٍ، فني، والناس استوعبوا الفكرة واستمتعوا فيها.
الفن لغة توصل للجميع… والحمد لله إن الفكرة صارت واقع. ✨🤍

GIANNI VERSACE & THEATRE 🎭

GV transcended high fashion by stepping outside of this genre altogether - collaborating with musicians to design for tours and stage wear, and also designing for theatre, including for the La Scala opera house and ballet performances.

The faces on this shirt bring to mind the exaggerated physical comedy masks worn by classic stock characters, that appear in a renaissance form of Italian theatre called Commedia dell'arte.
