Why do you kayak? I was asked this recently and have been thinking of an answer. Here is my answer. Once upon a time a great kayaker @ignacioo.afr said to me at SouthSilverFest. He said with a glint in his eye... Boofie 🎶"im feeling sick and im gonna need my medicine " ! It hit me that nature is strong medicine and kayaking is my way of connecting to it deeply and that keeps me healthy in a world full of sickness. Another legend and brother of mine @vito.verdugo once said "kayaking is the currency of the soul"! Every time I am on a river with him I see the glint in his eye and the fullness of his heart and I breathe deep and feel it too and realize i too am experiencing the glint in my eye and the filling of my soul with love from mother nature. So I kayak because im sick 😄 and I'm gonna need my medicine. That medicine is the river and kayaking is the currency of the soul. Kayaking literally feeds the soul and is the best medicine to find my flow. #imfeelingsick and #imgonnaneedmymedicine #connectionwithnature #kayaking #mountainrivers #feedthesoul and help me #findtheflow #natureisthebestmedicine #teamgreenchronicles
