Thank you for the tag @darkwitch.reads 🖤✨ Here’s my black and gold stack.

No deep thoughts from me today it’s far too hot for that. The fact these photos exist at all feels like an achievement. 😂

Hope you’re all coping with the heat a little better than I am!

I’ve tagged a few of you to give this a go as always no pressure ✌🏻

A huge shoutout to Sam's Library for the book rec! @book.trovert99

I was IMMERSED in this book! The writing style and scholarly language reminded me so much of the Love's Academic series by India Holton, but with a darker less cozy vibe. This book stopped me dead in my tracks with the twists and I was a little shocked by the graphic gore at times. I really enjoyed it, but I also can admit that it is not my normal pick. I havent ventured too far into the Dark Academia genre before, but I am very glad to have given this book a shot. I love a descriptive book, one where I am seeing and hearing everything the MCs are, and boy this book delivered! 🫖

Contrary to the algorithm’s belief, I actually like seeing book reviews. So I’m featuring the book besties who’ve influenced my TBR, from introducing me to new stories to giving me the nudge I needed to finally read what’s been sitting on it. ✨

This is also my own spin on Follow Friday, I love each of these accounts and think that you would too! 🫶🏻

Who has influenced you to read a specific book? What book was it? 📚

❤️🐺 🆂🆄🅽🅳🅰🆈 🆂🆃🅰🅲🅺 🐺❤️

It is no surprise that The Wolf King is my personality. I have read some AH-MAZING books since that are completely god tier but The Wolf King will have have my heart.

So it is only fair I own many editions 🤣
How many is too many? Asking for a friend......

All I am missing is my ImagineBookShop edition and my set will be complete 😍

📖 What edition did you crash out on and own a silly amount of copies of?

I have tagged a few of you to either complete a wolf stack or favourite series stack 👏🏻👏🏻

Book Scavenger Hunt 🔍📖

@chapterswithash_ tagged me a while ago in this fun little challange 😍 so thank you!

The prompts were 👇🏻

💙 A Number in the title
- Seven Deadly Thorns

💙 One word title
- Quicksilver

💙 A colour in the title
- Silver & Smoke

💙 A name in the title
- Graceless Heart

💙 An animal in the title
- The Wolf King

I've tagged a few book friends to go on a hunt! I tried to challange myself and just use special editions. But alas, I guess I just need more books 😅😅
If you see this! Give it a go ❤️

☀️ Monday Motivation ☀️

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a fab day! It's the last week of school for two of my babes. I am quite excited to have a break from school lunches and driving to a fro!

Easter is also this weekend and I LOVE when the easter bunny comes! So do the kids!

To get everyone through the week I thought I'd get you going with a stack! Your name stack! I was almost winning with the black and golds but Direbound won out as I had no more with D 🤣

What is everyone up to over easter?

Books mentioned
A🌻 An Echo in the Bone - Diana Gabaldon
M🌻 Metal Slinger - Rachel Schneider
A🌻 The Ascended - Grenwich & Lennox
N🌻 The Night Prince - Lauren Palphreyman
D🌻 Direbound - Sable Sorrenson
A🌻 Anatomy of Songs - Megan White

I have tagged a few of you. So I look forward to seeing them 🥰

Also, side note, I realised my name is from the bottom book up. I didn't think that one through 🤣

🌻 Sunday Shout Out 🌻

Since starting my bookstagram I have made some awesome friends! To be able to connect with people who love the same things I do, people who vibe with my weird and people who just get it and who connect back. You people are my people and I just adore this space and you!

As a mum of 3, who stays at home, my life is all my kids. It can be quite isolating, so to find a space where people want to talk, who are genuinly interested to chat and just vibe with me, fills me with so much joy.

This space has helped me so much find a part of myself that got buried in the early years of having kids. Something to look forward too and get my creative juices flowing.

I love that we all love escaping into fantasy worlds.

I wish I could add everyone into these slides but these are a start. I find myself searching or just scrolling through these lovely ladies pages and just loving them and their grid and vibes. Even if we don't chat, seeing them in my feed is my favourite ...🔥❤️

So thank you ladies for filling my space with awesome.
