*Confidently Wrong: A Novel on How AI Agents Really Work by Ritesh Modi* is an engaging and thought-provoking read that manages to explore artificial intelligence without making the subject feel like a technical manual.

What makes the book particularly interesting is its approach to explaining AI agents through a fictional narrative. Instead of simply presenting concepts, it gives readers a more relatable way to understand how AI systems reason, make decisions, interact with their environment, and sometimes spectacularly misunderstand things. The title itself is wonderfully fitting because anyone who has spent time around AI knows that confidence and correctness are not always best friends!

The book offers an accessible introduction to the world of AI agents while touching upon ideas that are increasingly relevant in our rapidly changing technological landscape. Readers get an opportunity to think about automation, decision-making, human-AI interaction, and the possibilities and limitations of intelligent systems.

One of the strongest aspects of the book is its ability to make a complicated subject approachable. Even readers without a deep technical background can follow the broader ideas, while those familiar with AI may appreciate the practical perspective and the questions it raises.

Rather than treating AI as either a magical solution or a terrifying future, the book encourages curiosity and a more nuanced understanding of what these systems can actually do.

Overall, Confidently Wrong is an informative, entertaining, and timely read for anyone curious about AI agents and the fascinating gap between artificial intelligence, confidence, and actual intelligence.

*An Inquiry into the Nature of Reality: Structure, Scale, and the Architecture of Existence by K. V. V. S. Murthy* is an intellectually stimulating exploration of one of humanity’s oldest questions: what is reality, and how should we understand the world in which we exist?

The book invites readers to look beyond familiar assumptions and examine reality through the interconnected ideas of structure, scale, and existence. Rather than treating reality as something simple and immediately understandable, Murthy encourages a deeper examination of how different levels of observation can shape our understanding of the universe. The discussion moves into fascinating territory, encouraging readers to think about the relationship between the very small, the very large, and everything in between.

One of the book’s strongest qualities is its curiosity. It does not merely present reality as a collection of established facts; instead, it encourages questioning, reflection, and intellectual exploration. The subject matter can occasionally feel dense, particularly for readers who are not accustomed to philosophical or scientific discussions, but that complexity also gives the book its distinctive character.

What makes this work particularly engaging is the way it encourages readers to reconsider seemingly ordinary concepts. It creates an opportunity to pause, think, and approach existence from a broader perspective.

Overall, An Inquiry into the Nature of Reality is a thought-provoking read for anyone interested in philosophy, science, cosmology, or the deeper questions surrounding existence. It is less about providing easy answers and more about inspiring meaningful questions which may be its greatest strength.

Hijr-e-Laafaani by Simar is the kind of book that makes you wonder whether the author was writing a story or personally plotting an emotional ambush against the reader. The title itself sounds like something that should be whispered dramatically while staring out of a rainy window, and honestly, the book delivers exactly that energy.

Reading it feels like being invited to an extremely serious conversation and then discovering that your emotions have been added to the guest list without your permission. Simar takes themes of longing, separation, relationships, and the wonderfully complicated business of being human and serves them with a style that can make you smile one moment and stare at the ceiling dramatically the next.

The writing has a poetic quality, but thankfully, it doesn’t feel like you need a dictionary, a therapist, and three cups of chai just to understand what is happening. There is an emotional rhythm to the book that keeps things engaging, while the lighter moments prevent it from becoming one long festival of sadness.

What makes Hijr-e-Laafaani particularly enjoyable is how relatable its emotional world can feel. It reminds us that human beings are basically complicated bundles of feelings pretending to have everything under control.

This is not the kind of book you simply “finish.” You finish it, close it, stare into space for a few seconds, and then question several of your own life decisions.

A thoughtful, emotional, beautifully expressive read; with just enough drama to make your inner Bollywood narrator very happy.

*I Choose Violence by Deshi Satoshi Nakamoto* is the kind of book that walks into the room, ignores the polite small talk, and immediately asks you to pay attention. The title itself promises attitude, rebellion, and unapologetic energy and the book certainly knows how to make an impression.

What makes this read interesting is its bold voice. Rather than trying to be overly polished or predictable, it embraces a sense of urgency and confrontation that keeps the pages moving. There is a refreshing directness to the writing, with ideas and emotions presented in a way that feels intentionally provocative. The book seems less interested in pleasing every reader and more interested in making readers stop, think, and occasionally question their own assumptions.

The writing carries a distinctive personality, and that personality is perhaps the book’s biggest strength. There is intensity without requiring every moment to be taken too seriously, creating an intriguing balance between seriousness and irreverence. The title may sound aggressive, but the experience of reading it is more layered than the provocative name initially suggests.

Another appealing aspect is how the book encourages engagement. It is the sort of story that can leave readers reflecting on choices, reactions, boundaries, and the consequences of standing firmly by one's convictions.

Without revealing any plot details, I Choose Violence is an unapologetically bold read with plenty of personality. It will appeal to readers who enjoy unconventional storytelling, strong voices, and books that are willing to challenge expectations rather than quietly follow them.

A striking title, a distinctive voice, and an attitude that refuses to whisper this is a book that certainly knows how to make itself heard.

Most book readers (and, for that matter, authors) never get to see the inside of a publishing warehouse, but while picking up a carton of copies of my book "With Love, Mommie Dearest" I got to see where stacks are kept, ready to be ordered and shipped off to stores (or libraries or schools). My publisher is Chicago Review Press, part of IPG (Independent Publishers Group).
Much appreciation to the people who help keep America literate!

Book Review: Leading from the Chariot: Leadership Lessons from the World’s First Crisis Meeting by Nitin Kukreja

What happens when a crisis meeting gets so serious that someone literally needs a chariot to get to it? Apparently, you get leadership lessons! Nitin Kukreja’s Leading from the Chariot takes an ancient setting and gives it a surprisingly modern twist, making us wonder whether corporate boardrooms have really invented anything new or simply upgraded the furniture.

The book cleverly explores leadership through the fascinating idea of a crisis meeting and draws lessons that feel remarkably relevant to today’s workplaces. Suddenly, decision-making, communication, responsibility, teamwork, uncertainty, and leadership dilemmas don’t seem like boring items from an MBA presentation. They become part of a much bigger human conversation.

What makes the book particularly enjoyable is its ability to connect timeless wisdom with situations that modern readers can instantly recognise. Whether you have ever attended a meeting that could have been an email, worked with a confused team, faced a difficult decision, or watched everyone mysteriously become silent when responsibility appears, you may find something amusingly familiar here.

The title itself deserves applause. “Leading from the Chariot” sounds like the ultimate executive leadership upgrade forget ergonomic chairs and corner offices; apparently, the real leadership vehicle comes with wheels, horses, and an ancient crisis attached!

Kukreja presents leadership as something more meaningful than simply giving instructions. The book encourages readers to think about purpose, choices, accountability, and how leaders respond when circumstances become complicated.

Overall, this is an engaging and thought-provoking read that manages to make leadership lessons feel approachable, relevant, and occasionally hilarious. It proves that good leadership advice can travel across centuries and apparently, it can travel by chariot too!

Forget Your Age: Remember Your Roots by Vijay Sharma is a thoughtful and refreshing book that encourages readers to look beyond the number attached to their age and reconnect with the experiences, values, memories, and relationships that have shaped them. Rather than treating age as a limitation, the book invites us to view life as an evolving journey where curiosity, learning, and self-discovery do not have an expiry date.

One of the book’s most appealing aspects is its emphasis on remembering where we come from. In a world that often celebrates speed, achievement, and constant change, Sharma reminds readers of the importance of staying connected to their roots. Family, childhood experiences, cultural values, simple memories, and lessons from the past can offer a sense of identity and perspective even as life moves forward.

The writing carries an encouraging and introspective quality, making the book feel less like a lecture and more like a gentle conversation with someone reminding us to pause and reflect. Its central message is particularly relevant in an age-conscious society, where people can sometimes feel pressured to behave, dream, or live according to expectations associated with a particular stage of life.

What makes the book interesting is its ability to turn an ordinary idea age into an opportunity for deeper reflection. It encourages readers to question limiting assumptions and appreciate the person they have become without losing touch with the person they once were.

Overall, Forget Your Age: Remember Your Roots is a meaningful read for anyone seeking perspective, personal reflection, and a renewed appreciation for life's journey. It leaves behind a simple yet memorable thought: growing older does not mean growing distant from your roots.

Book Review: Jalebi: The Law of Becoming by Tej Joshi

Some books tell you how to become successful. Some tell you how to become wiser. Jalebi: The Law of Becoming apparently looked at all of this and thought, “Why not explain life like a jalebi?” And honestly, that is either brilliant or the universe’s most delicious conspiracy.

Tej Joshi presents a thought-provoking exploration of growth, transformation, choices, and the wonderfully complicated business of becoming who we are meant to be. The central metaphor is delightfully desi: just like a jalebi takes unexpected twists and turns before becoming something wonderfully satisfying, our lives rarely follow a straight line either. Basically, if you thought your life was confusing, congratulations ! you are simply being jalebi.

What makes the book enjoyable is its ability to take meaningful ideas and present them in a way that feels approachable rather than like a motivational lecture delivered by someone standing suspiciously close to a PowerPoint presentation.

The writing encourages readers to pause, reflect, question familiar assumptions, and look at personal growth from a fresh perspective. There are plenty of moments that can make you nod thoughtfully ; and others that may make you stare into space wondering whether your own life has also been deep-fried in existential syrup. The book’s biggest charm is its unusual concept. It reminds us that becoming is rarely neat, predictable, or perfectly symmetrical. Sometimes we go forward, sometimes sideways, and occasionally we make a complete loop and wonder how we got there.

Jalebi: The Law of Becoming is an engaging, reflective, and refreshingly quirky read. It serves wisdom with a generous helping of metaphor; and thankfully, absolutely no spoon required.

*Book Review: Subbu Beyond Borders: A Journey of Places, People, Family and Self by Dr. Vinayak Subramaniam*

Subbu Beyond Borders is a delightful invitation to travel; not merely across countries and cultures, but through the wonderfully complicated landscape of human experience. Dr. Vinayak Subramaniam brings together places, people, family, memories, and moments of self-discovery to create a narrative that feels personal without ever becoming inaccessible.

What makes the book especially enjoyable is its sense of curiosity. Every new place becomes more than a dot on a map; it becomes an opportunity to observe people, understand cultures, appreciate differences, and occasionally laugh at the amusing surprises that life serves up when we step outside familiar surroundings. The author’s perspective gives the journey warmth and personality, making the book feel like a conversation with an observant and thoughtful traveller.

Family forms another meaningful thread, adding emotional depth to the experiences. Alongside the external journeys, there is an equally interesting internal one; the gradual exploration of identity, relationships, memories, choices, and what it really means to grow as a person.

The writing carries a refreshing balance of reflection and storytelling. Rather than presenting travel merely as sightseeing, the book highlights how journeys can quietly change the way we look at ourselves and the world around us.

Most importantly, Subbu Beyond Borders reminds readers that borders are not always geographical. Sometimes, the biggest distances are between who we were, who we are, and who we are becoming.

A thoughtful, heartfelt, and engaging read for anyone who believes that every journey leaves behind more than just photographs and souvenirs.

*Book Review: 30 Days to Lose Yourself*

Siddharth Nahal’s 30 DAYS TO LOSE YOURSELF is a Psychological Horror Poetry Collection is the literary equivalent of deciding to take a peaceful evening walk and somehow ending up questioning your entire existence. It is dark, unsettling, imaginative, and occasionally so intense that you may find yourself looking at the clock and wondering whether bedtime is actually a good idea.

What makes this collection particularly interesting is the way poetry and psychological horror come together. Instead of relying purely on traditional horror tricks, the book explores the strange corners of the human mind, where fear can be subtle, personal, and wonderfully uncomfortable. The poems invite you into an atmosphere that feels mysterious without giving away its secrets.

The title itself sounds like a perfectly reasonable self-help challenge; until you realise this is definitely not the kind of thirty-day programme promising better habits, improved productivity, or a glowing morning routine. Forget meditation apps; this book seems more interested in making you stare dramatically into the distance.

Nahal’s writing creates an eerie mood while allowing readers to interpret the emotions and imagery in their own way. The poetic format also gives the collection a distinctive rhythm, making the reading experience feel different from a conventional horror story.

And the best part? There are no spoilers here, because discovering the atmosphere and ideas for yourself is half the fun.

Overall, 30 DAYS TO LOSE YOURSELF is a fascinating choice for readers who enjoy poetry with a dark twist. Read it if you like psychological mysteries, eerie moods, and books that leave you thinking, “Well… that was unsettling.” Just don’t blame the author if your perfectly normal thoughts suddenly start feeling suspicious.
