I just joined the Old-Skool Challenge in club, just in time to take on this week’s challenges! And the second challenge I took on was Audrey’s (@hook.me.a.book) Leggylicious challenge, where she set us to find books with legs on the cover. So, which legs will I include? All of them! “Long legs, short legs, shapely legs, hairy legs…”, even “legs that belong to something other than a human—the more legs the better”!! And so, here we go! A subset of the books I’ve read that had legs on them, including some very hairy, non-human ones! After all, four legs good, two legs bad! If I tagged you, this is an invite for you to partake in this challenge. And if I haven’t, blame IG’s 20-person tag limit, and consider yourself invited as well! QOTD: Do you walk while you read or do you sit still? #leggylicious #oldskoolchallengeclub #hereforthefunnotthenumbers #dima_does_life #dima_reads

I just joined the Old-Skool Challenge in club, just in time to take on this week’s challenges! First on the docket is Dee’s (@chapter1.page1) Animal Crackers Challenge: I had to find books containing an animal (or animals) in the title (includes any living creature or mythical creature). I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough to create a stack and, lo and behold, I got not one, but two stacks; one for living creatures, and another for mythical ones! I also found myself in the middle of an existential crisis debating myself whether a werewolves and fairies were animals or not. Bottom line was, they are, because I didn’t want to add yet another dragon book to the stack. What’s your take on this? If I tagged you, this is an invite for you to partake in this challenge. And if I haven’t, blame IG’s 20-person tag limit, and consider yourself invited as well! QOTD: If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be? #animalcrackers #oldskoolchallengeclub #hereforthefunnotthenumbers #dima_does_life #dima_reads

Hello, my name is Noelle and I like numbers…I mean books! I like books…and numbers…I can like two things! 😅 The @oldskoolchallengeclub is back this week with three fantastic challenges from @hook.me.a.book, @chapter1.page1, and @jac_in_a_book. My choice for this week’s challenge comes from the one and only Jac whose theme and bonus questions remind us that book nerds can also be number nerds ✋Hi, yes, that's me 😋 The challenge? Compile books that have numbers in the title. Done and done. But Jac also left us with a few bonus prompts to try and complete: 1️⃣An even number 2️⃣An odd number 3️⃣A prime number 4️⃣A perfect square 5️⃣A fraction 6️⃣An ordinal number Check out my starred books and double check my number sense! Thanks for all the fun on this one, Jac! Want to try out this challenge? I’d love to see! Give me a tag so I can show your post some love. I’ve tagged a few friends, but as always, no pressure! ⁉️Do you have a favorite number, and if so, why is it your favorite? Or, what book can you think of with a number in the title? ‼️My favorite number is 42. Why is it my favorite? Well, I could give some reasoning that it is my favorite because it was Jackie Robinson’s number, and that’s not not true, but mostly it has to do with the fact that the number 42 is very, very blue to this synesthete, and blue is my happy color. #oldskoolchallengeclub #bookswithnumbersinthetitle

🦴🛸📚 Book Review 📚🛸🦴 Title: The Bones Beneath My Skin Author: TJ Klune Release date: 27 September 2018 Series: N/A Number in series: N/A Pages: 400 Publisher: Tor Genre: Low Fantasy | Science Fiction | Thriller | Queer Romance* Rating (/5): ♾️☔ Spice (/5): 🥵🥵 *Using this term as per genre search. BDA Chapters & Critters Prompt: Set in Spring 🌸 📚 Blurb & 🖋️ Bio in comments 🤔 Thoughts The Bones Beneath My Skin was a fantastic book. It was an utter joy to read. The story was really good and the concept was heartwarming. The cover is nice. I like that use of imagery for a scene in the book. It was a nice touch. I loved the colours. They were so beautifully used. It was very visually pleasing. The writing is really good and the story flowed nicely. The book is written in third person and was from Nate's point of view. This worked well and we got to see the impact of different events on him and how he perceived the other characters' reactions. The book's setting began in Oregan. Many other states were visited such as Montana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I liked this as it added a contemporary feel to the mix of genres. The characters were beautiful. I loved how well developed they were. I'll start with Alex and Nate. I loved these guys. They were good men in an impossible situation. They did their best! Artemis Darth Vader or Art was a beautiful girl. She had such a sweet and kind heart. She was so smart and definitely wise beyond her years. She was truly remarkable. I without wholeheartedly recommend this book. Q: what is your favourite season? A: Spring and Autumn #BookReview #TheBonesBeneathMySkinReview #TJKlune #Tor #BDAChaptersAndCrittersBookishBingo
