💻 My Bookish Search History 💻

Thank you to my sweet friend @yergerburger.reads for the tag and inspiration! I am definitely a mood reader but tend to stay pretty consistent with alpha male main characters is seems lol Even cozy romance books, I like the protectiveness and vulnerability of the MMC’s.

I am tagging some friends but if you see this, then you, my friend, are tagged!! 🩷

is thankful. ❤️

I don’t typically receive books from anyone I know in real life. 99% of the books I own, I’ve literally purchased for myself—but amazingly there have been a few gifted to me from some wonderful people I’ve connected with through Bookstagram! I wanted to make a static post for all the amazing books I’ve been lucky enough to receive this year because of y’all 🥹🫶🏼

🌲🏡 A neighbors-to-lovers trope arc of Across the Vanishing Sky from THE iconic @catherinecowlesauthor !! ((bawled my eyes out over this one ngl 🤧))

🩵👻 A *signed* copy of Good Spirits from @bookish_platypus’s 30th bday giveaway ((who also gifted me hand crocheted goodies amongst other things, like r u kidding me 🥹))

💛🤠 The *entire* Black Springs Ranch series from the one & only @booked_emina ((my first ever @probablysmut special editions & i. am. obsessed))

💙🏒 A @thelovestorysociety edition of The Wild Card from the lovely @beccasbeenreading ((I really love the muted blues of this cover))

🩷🎡 Let’s Kiss and Tell, one of my most anticipated reads, gifted to me by thee most patient soul. @meshellreads literally reordered a second copy for me after the first copy got lost in the mail. I cannot wait to read this one!!

🤎🗡️ A @thelovestorysociety edition of Half City ((I have been DYING to read this series and love TLSS’s rendition of the cover))

💜🦋 A *signed* deluxe edition of Light Wielder from @literallytabz, who also threw in *so* many extra bookish goodies ((ugh I cried at her thoughtfulness))

🏰🥀 Not pictured yet is my @theworksstores edition of Daybreak from @bookedbyyou365. Sorrowsong University is my favorite duology of all time and it’s been soul crushing to know it’s near impossible to get them from the US without paying extremely high reseller fees ((i definitely cried again for this one))

Can you tell this girl is a crier? Usually during my luteal phase LOL 🫠 I have been slow to post these since I’m still deep in the throes of moving/selling/renovating, but I regularly look at my books and instantly remember where I got them from. Thank you to everyone for showing this lil book account so much love this year. 🤧🫶🏼

💖NEW RELEASE & REVIEW💖

@authormarenmoore I have already told ya but thank you again for this amazing book and series! Also so thankful for the arc as well!!
———————————————————————————

Goodness, this series has me in a chokehold! Each book gets better and better. You get a mix of all things with each book and simply beautifully written love stories!

Bennett and Merritt did not disappoint. I was a little worried how Bennett was going to come across since he is a known playboy but gosh I love how you don’t get any of that playboy-ness from it at all in here. He genuinely surprised me, I loved him so much. From his first time meeting Merritt and how he loved that she gave him a verbal beating, to how he was with her and then how he treated her brother. I swear the Christmas scene did me in the most!

I have trouble with black cat FMC but I absolutely loved everything about Merritt. She was so genuine and just herself, she never changed herself (not that Bennett wanted her too lol). Loved how she was very guarded with Bennett and how she made him work for her trust and interest.

These two together were so fun to read, I didn’t want to put the book down. Truthfully I didn’t want the book to end and need more of their story!

🌺BOOK RELEASE/REVIEW🌺

Happy Release @authorkellyelliott I love this series so much and each book is so beautiful!
Thank you again @teamkellyelliott and Kelly for this trope special paperback!

I was excited and dreading when it came to read Ensley and Colts story. I just knew it was going to break me emotionally.

These two were soulmates and it all came crashing down on them when Ensley’s best friend and Colt’s brother passed away in a very tragic way, please be sure to check the TW’s when you start this one. As you can imagine both are going through such hard grief and pain that they don’t know how to handle it all but Ensley knew they needed to stick together but Colt couldn’t handle being there anymore and left without a goodbye.

As one would, Ensley took that heartbreak extremely hard. So 10 years later when Colt finally comes back home, she doesn’t want anything to do with his excuses. This is where I was totally on board and was like yesssss girl give him hell. But I don’t think she gave him enough lol.

We do get a very sweet and loving HEA with these two but you will get hit with so much emotions that you need to be ready for that.

Not a lot of spice which I was happy with. With the emotional topics this book hits, I think a lot of spice would have ruined it. So it had the perfect amount and was done so beautifully.
