My 2025, in no particular order, turned out to be finding a new home and community in the gym; i.e. unintentionally walking half of a full marathon and couple of half’s before realizing I really just needed fucking break; lots of lifting weights and deciding I want to be a powerlifter (cuz that’s how a true 🐐 takes a break) thanks to my new gym friends; getting back in the record biz; dancing with the same people I’ve been dancing with for the past decade + (and some new); got a big health diagnosis and subsequently (most importantly) said NO THANK YOU to a lot of people/places/things no longer serving me, which in turn got me closer to and clearer on the things that excite me, support my health and bring me joy; and found renewed interest and purpose in my professional life that connects all of the above and more. lots of ups and downs but in the final analysis couldn’t ask for more, and yet, this new year I know it’s only 🆙🆙🆙

Love you all!!!

I had the opportunity to film & direct a short documentary featuring @_moyasin_ for @artdialoguesmagazine .

It was a pleasure meeting Mo — a truly insightful and talented artist who made this project an inspiring experience.

Grateful to @anitagoes for the trust and collaboration in bringing this piece to life, and special thanks to @bookercmitchell .
