POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🌀Blue Stack🌀

@hoxma.darktales thanks for the tag!

Big brilliant blue books bloat my beautiful bookshelves. Brimming with beguiling stories with beautiful backdrops and backstabbing. Brave the unknown and bounce buoyantly into a new book when you feel a bit blue.

Tagging a few! If you don’t do this you will be unable to read any books with a B in the title 😜

Hope you guys are having good day!

🤏Mass Market Paperback Flatlay🤏

💭Do you like Mass Market Paperbacks?

I like them! Having a little book to throw in my bag or back pocket when I’m heading about the town!

Thanks for the tag @raven_reads666

Tagging a few! If you don’t do this challenge all your books will be mass market paperbacks but the ones with the bad ink that smears when you touch it.

Hope you guys are having a good day!

It’s been a week since our #PlotTwistEventsTO Reading Party and we can’t wait for our next event! Check our page later this week for a calendar of activities to come for the rest of 2026.

But in the meantime, we’re still basking in the glow of happiness about how well our last one went. Everyone who came was SO fabulous, but I have to give a special shoutout to our amazing special guests @courtsfullybooked @serbanacht.reads @bookishbrad @books_afterbedtime8. Make sure you give them a follow as you’ll love their book recommendations!

This past Saturday #PlotTwistEventsTO had its second event, a #ReadingParty at the @chefshallto and it was SO AMAZING! Even though we couldn’t stick with the original plan to have a Fun in the Sun vibe (thanks to the rain) everyone who came was so friendly, passionate about reading, and we had a blast together! Thank you SO MUCH to all my old friends and new ones for being a part of this day 🥂 Can’t wait to see you at our next event! #TorontoEvents #TorontoBooktok #JdoutsBookNook

🌈Rainbow Stack🌈

It’s a rainbow stack for a stormy day ⛈️ Hopefully there will be some rainbows in the future though!

I wanted to make a rainbow stack using only queer books and authors! And I’m surprised I was able to succeed!! (not because I don’t have a lot of queer books or authors, but because all the colors are sometimes hard to find LOL)

Tagged some of my favorite lgbt creators! Go give them a follow! (there was so many I wanna tag and I’m brain dead and can’t remember everyone’s username so if I didn’t tag you know I tagged you in my heart 😅🥰❤️)

Hope you guys are having a good day!

🖤The Seven Deadly Sins Challenge🖤

I was tagged by @cosy.horror.corner
I tagged several people but no pressure to complete the challenge however if you do, please let me know! And feel free to do this challenge and let me know, even if I didn’t tag you. 🫶🏼

♥️ Lust-“A Book I got for the Cover”…My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. Unfortunately the cover outshines the book. Cover=5 ⭐️s, Book=3 ⭐️s.

🩷 Gluttony- “A Book I Could Re-Read”…Diavola by Jennifer Thorne. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I believe this was my favorite horror book I read last year and was almost my overall favorite book of 2024 as well. Highly recommend this destination, haunted-stay, clever-humor read.

🧡 Pride- “A Big, Intimidating Book”…A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This won my favorite book of 2024 and my heart. These characters and their stories are heartbreaking and heartbreakingly beautiful and will forever live rent-free in my brain. Give it a go if you haven’t already, but be prepared-it’s a heavy read.

💛 Greed- “A book I Borrowed”…Be My Friend by Mique Watson. ⭐️⭐️ Another book whose cover sadly outshined the story. And what a spectacularly cool cover it is! Unfortunately, my partner from whom I borrowed the book and I were both equally disappointed.

💙 Wrath- “A Book I didn’t enjoy”… A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. ⭐️ I can appreciate a slow burn and even just a slowly paced good story, but this was truly a snore fest with no redeeming qualities.

💚 Envy- “A Book I Want to Live In”… The Whole Town’s Talking by Fannie Flagg. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a charming book with many laugh out loud moments. I adored it. Definitely give it a try.

💜 Sloth- “A Book That’s Been on My TBR the Longest”… Room by Emma Donoghue. Have heard great things about this one. I need to move it closer to the top of my list!
