To celebrate I’ve been a big brave girl and made my debut on camera, which was very scary so please be kind! I am very excited to be leading you through one of my patterns from A Hoop of Threads and Longing via stitch-a-long with @bookmarkedhub! 🧵

Throughout the month of October, I will be demonstrating the steps and embroidery stitches you’ll need to create these little sun, moon, and stars. ✨

In this video, I’ll show you what materials you’ll need and how to prepare your hoop for stitching.

You’ll need:
✨DMC cotton embroidery floss
✨Fabric (I’m using a linen blend)
✨Embroidery hoop
✨Embroidery scissors
✨Fabric scissors (If you don’t have both kinds of scissors, that’s ok!)
✨Embroidery needle
✨Heat-erasable pen (I’m using a Pilot Frixion pen)

MY BOOK IS OUT!!

Oh my gosh, that’s wild isn’t it?
From submitting my book proposal last year to seeing the finished product on my bookshelf is insane.
