i am probably doing this post all wrong in terms of the size of the photos or whatever but you know what, that’s exactly right for what i came here to say, which is that if you’ve at any point thought over the last six months, “wow kate is doing a nice job on her instagram,” i want you to know it’s all thanks to @bookshirecreative, who has helped me so hugely with my socials in the lead up to/aftermath of the release of THE PARIS MATCH. krysten you are a wonder; thank you for your gorgeous sense of taste and your thoughtfulness and for believing my books are worthy of your careful eye. i am so grateful for your creativity and how it helped bring this book into the world🩷 everyone, any mess or chaos you see on my socials (like photos that are the wrong size), just know that’s my doing and not hers lol

everyone, i am so so excited to share with you something i’ve been lucky enough to see come to fruition this summer: an incredibly beautiful branding package and brand new website, designed by the absolutely brilliant @bookshirecreative. when i started in this business people would sometimes ask about my brand in visual terms and i would be like, “uh, plain,” because i had a hard time articulating how my books and an aesthetic fit together. working with Krysten gave me a whole new horizon for thinking about this and i am completely awestruck by what she captured here—what matters to me most about my work, and how i hope my work feels to all of you who might be reading it. and YES, bookshire IS responsible for this PERFECT tagline 🥹 i hope you’ll take a minute today to check out my new site—link is in my bio. love y’all xo

BOOK JOURNAL/LAST APRIL READ 🩵 Good morning, dear readers! The last couple of weeks have been unexpectedly busy, so I’m happy for a few slower days where I can hopefully finish *at least* one more book to close out April! I’ve sort of started V. K. Dixon’s “Veil of Mist,” Courtney Millecam’s “The Emerald Alliance,” and Cassandra James’ “Capitana,” so it’s anyone’s guess what I’ll finish by tomorrow (see poll!). 🩵🩵🩵
