๐Ÿฉธ๐ŸŒฟ BOOK REVIEW | BLOOD & CLAW - JAYNE CASTEL ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฉธ Song of Savage Hearts Duology -Book 1 She hired him to find her mother. He needed her mother to break his curse. ๐Ÿ–ค Give me Scottish folklore, ancient Druid magic, vampires, and a mysterious, brooding bodyguard, and you've already got my attention! Add forbidden magical tattoos? OH, I'M IN! ๐Ÿ™Œ Blood & Claw was my first book by Jayne Castel, and this Scottish lass was absolutely hooked! When Ailsa's foster mother, Kayla, is kidnapped, she's determined to find her. Unfortunately, while Ailsa has some Druid magic of her own, street smarts are NOT among her talents. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Enter Darach, a mysterious bodyguard with dangerous secrets and his own reasons for finding Kayla. And thank goodness for him, because that poor girl wouldn't last five minutes on her own! I absolutely loved the combination of Celtic folklore, vampire lore, and forbidden Druid magic. The magical tattoos were an especially fascinating touch, and the slow-burn romance kept me invested in Ailsa and Darach's journey. And yes, there's a CLIFFHANGER! ๐Ÿ˜ฑBut this is Book 1 of a duology, so I was prepared. And thankfully, Book 2 is already available! ๐Ÿฉธ Celtic Paranormal Romance ๐ŸŒฟ Druid Magic & Scottish Folklore ๐Ÿ–ค Mysterious Bodyguard โœจ Forbidden Magical Tattoos ๐Ÿ”ฅ Slow-Burn Romance ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Cursed Hero ๐Ÿ“– Duology (Read in Order!) My verdict: A fantastic blend of ancient Celtic magic, vampires, mystery, and romance that left me immediately reaching for the next book! โš ๏ธ Wicked Warning: Having Druid magic does NOT automatically come with common sense. Thank goodness the bodyguard has some! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒฟ Do you love Celtic folklore and Druid magic in your paranormal romances? #BloodAndClaw #JayneCastel #SongOfSavageHearts #CelticRomance #ParanormalRomance #VampireRomance #DruidMagic #FantasyRomance #SlowBurnRomance #BookReview #Bookstagram #SuzysWickedlyGoodReads

๐Ÿฉธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ BOOK REVIEW | FANG & FURY - JAYNE CASTEL ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸฉธSong of Savage Hearts Duology (Book 2) The slow burn was delicious. The payoff? A raging INFERNO! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅOh my goodness, this duology was SO GOOD! As a Scottish lass who absolutely LOVES Celtic folklore and Druid magic, Jayne Castel has officially earned herself a new fan! And dare I say it? I think Book 2 was even BETTER than the first! Fang & Fury picks up immediately where Blood & Claw ends, so you absolutely need to read these books in order. I'm keeping this review spoiler-free because there are some discoveries you NEED to experience for yourself! But here's what I CAN tell you... ๐ŸŒฟ Ancient Druid magic? YES! ๐Ÿฉธ Vampires and Celtic folklore? Absolutely! ๐Ÿ–ค A mysterious, cursed protector? Oh, Darach! ๐Ÿ”ฅ A slow-burn romance that finally catches FIRE? GOOD LORD! โš”๏ธ Epic magical battles? SOME OF THE BEST I've read in a romance novel! I loved watching Ailsa continue discovering her powers, and the action sequences had me completely engrossed. The intensity, magical elements, and emotional payoff made this such a satisfying conclusion to their story. But perhaps the biggest compliment I can give this duology? Jayne Castel went from a new-to-me author to one of my newest author OBSESSIONS! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ–ค Newsletter? Subscribed. Social media? Followed. Future releases? On my radar! And finding out that Fern, one of my favorite side characters, will be getting her own story next year? YES, PLEASE! ๐Ÿ™Œ My verdict: An explosive, magical, and wonderfully romantic conclusion to a fantastic Celtic paranormal duology! โš ๏ธ Wicked Warning: That slow burn comes with a warning: once the fire catches, you might need a Druid to put it out! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜‚ Have you ever discovered a new author and immediately gone searching for EVERYTHING they've written? #FangAndFury #JayneCastel #SongOfSavageHearts #CelticRomance #ParanormalRomance #DruidMagic #VampireRomance #FantasyRomance #SlowBurnRomance #RomanceBooks #BookReview #Bookstagram #SuzysWickedlyGoodReads

โœจ๐Ÿ“š CURRENT READ ๐Ÿ“šโœจ Just starting an ARC of this one thanks to @booksirens - who can say no to a disgraced hockey star ๐Ÿ˜‰ Book summary: When a disgraced NHL star moves in next door-and takes her bucket list personally, Hope Wilkens is barely surviving. After a decade spent caring for her sick mother, sheโ€™s grieving, broke, and barely holding together her horrible job and the failing bait shop she just inherited. So when she finds the bucket list she wrote as a starry-eyed teenager, she doesnโ€™t feel inspired-she feels like a failure. Horseback riding? Painting? Swimming under a waterfall? Yeah, right. She can barely keep her head above water. Enter Jax Tanner: NHL golden boy, fan favorite, and the reason โ€œhockey player punches refereeโ€ is trending. Banished to tiny Sea Glass Harbour after his headline-making meltdown, Jax is supposed to lie low, reflect, and get his head back in the game. Instead, he finds his pretty next-door-neighbour, Hope, and her bucket list. And decides she needs a little help. With zero subtlety, Jax inserts himself into Hopeโ€™s plans, nudging her back toward the life she stopped believing she deserved. What starts as reluctant adventures turns into late-night laughter, undeniable chemistry, and a connection neither of them saw coming. As the bucket list gets bolder and their feelings get hotter, reality starts closing in. Jaxโ€™s hockey career is on the line. Hopeโ€™s heart already is. Because falling for each other? That definitely wasnโ€™t on the bucket list. A spicy small-town romcom about a golden retriever hockey player who refuses to let the girl next door give up on her dreams. #notonmybucketlist #dianadeehan #romance #currentread #bookstagram

Title: Twisted Tales to Tell in the Night: A Yuletide Horror Anthology Editor: Stephanie Rose Authors: Delilah S. Dawson Wendy N. Wagner Annie Neugebauer Ashley Graves Nicholas Hertzberg Jason A. Jones S. J. Krandall Kay Hanifen Raven Minyard E. J. Schaefer Anthony Michael Murphy Renee Thomasin A. D. Jones Kayla Joy Samantha Alis Anthony Scott Ashworth Review: I was so excited when I discovered that this book was on Booksirens I was very excited to pick it up! I was intrigued with the idea of scary Christmas stories because I enjoyed immensely the scary stories to tell in the night anthology and couldnโ€™t wait to pick this up! However, I think this anthology was a bit mixed some were really good and really chilled me to the bone but other stories not quite so much. I enjoyed the fact that some authors were using different lore of Christmas in their stories while others felt a bit under developed with their story as a whole! #scarystoriestotellinthenight #booksirens #advancereaderscopy #horror #horrorshortstories Thank you to Booksirens for giving me the opportunity to read this book in advance!

Riley House by Holly Knightley - Review 5 โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ An enjoyable, short, supernatural suspense. When Morris and Liz move into their new home, Morris also looks after the huge house across the street. When unusual things start happening he's determined to get to the bottom of them. After twists that left me shocked, I was intrigued by the ending and would love a sequel, do novellas get sequels..? Either way, this is a fascinating short story that will keep you wondering where it's going and can be consumed in a day. Happy reading ๐Ÿ“š ๐Ÿ˜Š @hollyknightley @booksirens #BookSirens #Ad #Bookstagram #FreeBookReview

A huge shoutout to the author, @silascgraves, and @booksirens for the opportunity to read this ARC! ๐Ÿ–ค Iโ€™m pretty pumped about this one! The second I saw the cover & found out it was a gothic horror type of vibe, I just knew this was meant to be. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Something about dark, disturbing, and potentially horrifying stories just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ‘น Canโ€™t wait to see what Iโ€™m getting myself into! #ARCReader #CurrentlyReading #gothichorror

๐Ÿ’ Book 299 of 2026 ๐Ÿ’ โ€ข ๐‘๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  - 4โœจ - dark mafia romance - arranged marriage - protective and possessive hero - morally grey characters - touch her and die - pregnancy - forced proximity - action, suspense, and violence - family loyalty So again, a new to me author, and Iโ€™m so happy I picked up this book. The story follows Halo and Tatum as they get caught in mafia politics, family loyalty, and an arranged marriage. Halo is pushed toward marrying Nikolai, even though her heart belongs to Tatum. With dangerous enemies and secrets around them, they have to fight for their relationship while trying to survive the world theyโ€™re trapped in. This book was so refreshing for me because it has the kind of action I always crave in mafia romance. There was danger, tension, bloodshed, and so much happening that kept me hooked. I loved how the romance and the action went hand in hand instead of the story focusing only on the couple. Tatum was definitely a highlight for me. I loved how much he cared about Halo and how protective he was of her. Their chemistry and emotional moments made me really invested in them, and all the danger around them just made their relationship even more intense. I also enjoyed the darker atmosphere and the complicated family dynamics. The plot kept me interested, and I loved how the stakes continued to rise. This was such an entertaining read, and Iโ€™m definitely excited to read more from Deena LeVon. If you love dark mafia romance with protective heroes, intense action, and a couple who are willing to fight for each other, this one is worth adding to your TBR.
