How has it been one week since @bookstabrunch?! It was my very first bottomless brunch and let's just say I got my money's worth... Amazing to have in attendance two incredible authors including one of my absolute faves @kathryn.sharman and the wonderful @kate_gray_author - who I've been following since I won a beach towel and frisbee at her Theakstons proof party for The Honeymoon in 2023! Lovely to catch up with friends and make new ones. A big thanks to @aquintillionwords for making it happen. You're a good egg Em 🫶 🏷️ #bookevent #bottomlessbrunch #booksandbrunch

Yesterday, @bookstabrunch was born 🧡 I've had the idea brewing for a while - bottomless brunch/lunch meets (boozy, or not!) to bring more of us together in the north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 And yesterday was most definitely a boozy one 😂 We had such a brilliant bottomless brunch at @slugandlettuce.sheffield, a wander around @waterstonessheffield and then found a gem of a rock bar The Dove & Rainbow (where you can pick the music! 🤘) Peanut butter whiskey is a new favourite. Thanks @a.book.smith, @booksta_jon and @frenchie_w_reads82 for being there for the birth of what I hope will be the start of something a bit special, as well as your enthusiasm for it. What a JOY it is to have you as friends! The next is pencilled in for September in Leeds (lets get the book festivals out the way!) There's a form you can find on @bookstabrunch to register your interest 🥳 I would also LOVE an author or two to join us! Drop me a message if you're interested 🥂 booksta brunch | bookish meets
