✨️💜 Small Business Spotlight 💜✨️

@bookwyrmstrove

As a massive lover of all things dragon - and with the BookTok community eagerly awaiting Threshing Day, the next book in Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean series - I couldn't resist putting together a whole week dedicated to dragons!

Meet Nyx, my 3D printed Dark Heart Tadling 💜

Honestly, this is still one of my absolute favourite small business collabs. I sent them some money, told them to surprise me, and they totally delivered!

This wee guy even came with her own birth certificate and name. She has pride of place on my bookcase, and the craftsmanship is just stunning.

They have so many gorgeous designs and sizes, and for the sheer amount of work that goes into them, they are an absolute bargain.

Sadly, these tadlings are getting discontinued soon because they're costing the shop too much to produce, so I'm told you only have until 31st October to grab one. Go, go, go!

Please go show this amazing small business some love with a like, comment, follow, and share! 💜✨️

✨️💜 Small Business Spotlights 💜✨️

October 2025 - Part 3

@my.crochet.critters I'm a repeat customer of these super cute lil guys! The plan was originally to get this green dino as a stocking filler but then I saw the Zom-bee in the Halloween range and I had to get one of those too 😂 make the most of the P&P!

@bookwyrmstrove OMG what can I even say about this one! I asked for a bespoke surprise and my goodness did the BookTok girlie in me get it 😂 This is my dragon Nyx, my purrmaid Melody and my wee ghostie Wisp 😂 came with birth certificates and everything! One of the most fun projects I have worked with a small business on!!!

@totallypawsomeltd So grateful to these guys for helping me trouble shoot some cute toys for my two labs who are heavy chewers! The pumpkin made it to Halloween intact and the Mummy not quite as intact but still functional! The baby dog (i.e. the pumpkin owner) has love chewing it but also carrying it around in his mouth! I'll be honest I didn't have much hope for these Ovo Eggs but I am so pleasantly surprised! Just goes to show it's worth asking the experts for their recommendations! I would definitely get more of these and recommend them!

Please go give these small business a like, comment, follow and share!

Wow, it's quickly become over a month since I last posted... so HI!

How have you all been?

Life is so busy lately, isn't it? I hope you're all taking a break when you need to, I know I'm trying to get better at that too. Hence taking long breaks where I need, to avoid burning out too much, and focusing energy where its needed most.

I've recently reread the poppy war trilogy, and I absolutely loved it just as much this time around, as the first. More so, even.

I noticed some details I didn't before, and some bits clicked together even nicer during the read, that didn't click until the end on the first read through.

This is why I LOVE doing reread of books I love. You always notice new things, and finer details 😊

Stunning helf decor thanks to @jcjcplus and @bookwyrmstrove.

All their candles are hand-poured with eco soy wax, smell absolutely divine, and two of them have been created especially for Blondes! 😍

Even better — when your candle’s finished, you can bring the tin back to be reused ♻️ No waste, just more cosy vibes!

Pop in, have a nosey, and find your new favourite scent (or adopt a cute creature while you’re here 👀💚) #blondescoffeeshop

✨️💜 Small Business Spotlight 💜✨️

@bookwyrmstrove

BookTok this one is with you in mind - haven't we always wanted our own dragon? Well I have found a small business who will make that dream a reality!

This small business spotlight has been one of the most fun and special I've done!

I put out a shoutout to small businesses to see if there was anything I could do to help with some content creating or engaging or sharing ahead of Christmas and the team at BWT reached out to me.

I checked them out and thought their stuff was so unique. They make lots of different things but I particularly loved the 3D printed dragons.

So, as I often do when I'm too overwhelmed with so much lovely stuff, I see if the small business would like creative reign and BWT did! There is no way I could ever have come up with this!

I don't even know where to start! The attention to detail is amazing and I can see my page has been used for inspiration! I've tried to show the details as much as I can in the video.

Please go give this small business a like, comment, follow and share!

I am challenging everyone who can to buy at least one gift from a small business this year. Please use #LelsXmasChallenge and tag me and I will try and share as many as I can. Gives the rest of us some good ideas and creates exposure for the small business!

Do you ever match your bookmark to your reads?

I started Hell Bent today by @lbardugo after loving Ninth House and felt it needed an appropriate bookmark. One of my favourite parts of starting a new book is choosing a matching bookmark for it.

This beautiful bookmark is from one of my lovely friends shop @bookwyrmstrove and I adore it. You'll see many more things from her shop featured, so go and show her some love if you like what you see.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝

Hi Readers, I’ve just finished North is the Night by Emily Rath and I absolutely loved it, it was a vivid thrilling story of survival, self discovery, resilience and love inspired by Finnish folklore.

I’ve also picked up When the Moon Hatched. I’m about 10% through and I’m hella confused 🤣 I don’t know who anyone is and I don’t like the FMC. If you’ve read this, tell me it gets better? I desperately want to like this because this fairyloot edition is stunning!
