WHAT. A. DAY. 💙

Yesterday was everything I hoped it would be and so much more.

What started as an idea to bring people together for a cause incredibly close to my heart became an afternoon filled with laughter, entertainment, generosity, powerful conversations and a whole lot of love.

As a cancer survivor and someone who has spent 8 years advocating for @loveyournuts , seeing a room full of people show up, support, donate, bid, buy raffle tickets and simply be part of the conversation meant more to me than I can put into words.

To every artist and performer who gave their time and talent, every artist and business who donated an auction item or raffle prize, every person who helped behind the scenes, and @apollostabernaetmixtarium for opening your doors and helping us create such an incredible event — THANK YOU. 💙

And most importantly, to every single person who bought a ticket and joined us yesterday, YOU made this event what it was!!!!!!

We raised funds, we raised awareness, we started conversations… and we had one hell of a good time doing it! 🥂🔥

Yesterday proved exactly what I believe:

When people come together with purpose, incredible things happen.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This one will stay with me for a very long time. 💙

Together, we made a difference.

🎭✨ ’n Trotse Afrikaanse oomblik! 🇿🇦

What an incredible privilege to attend the premiere of Semi-Soet and to celebrate the first Afrikaans musical on this theatre stage in 10 years! ❤️

There’s something incredibly special about seeing our language, our stories and our culture come alive on stage like this. As a proud Afrikaans man, my heart was FULL. 🙌🏼

Afrikaans is alive, vibrant and taking centre stage! 🎶

An ode to my agents on your birthday 🎭

“Yes of course I can play a tree” 🌳😭

To the people sending the auditions, fighting for us behind the scenes, celebrating the callbacks and carrying the heartbreak of the releases too… thank you for always having my back.

Actors and agents really are in this together.

The truth… I’ve been “sick” more times than I can count 🤒
At this point, me and the dentist? Besties.

Sometimes chasing your dream and making money seriously clash.
One minute you’re in meetings… next minute you’re running to an audition like your life depends on it.

The actor life is not for the weak.

Drop an 🎭 and tell me your go-to “excuse” for auditions
