[ hellfest 2026 ]

after a fest or a significant show, i always kick myself for not taking nearly enough photos. i'm feeling the same way this year, but i've realized something—there will never be enough photos to properly convey the feeling last weekend gave me. i moshed, i cried, i laughed, i'm hurt, i'm broke (as fuck) but good god was it all worth it.

before hellfest 2025, i really didn't want to be here anymore. then i watched @haywire617 play "always by my side," and i wept in the theatre. i wept because i really wanted to be here, and hardcore makes me want to be here, but i was stuck mourning a life that i couldn't have anymore. i'm really glad i stuck around this year to watch them do it again and weep to the same song, but this time surrounded by my closest and longtime friends that were there... and then beat the piss out of everyone else once they played buried dreams. (i never got to see that band, sue me!)

a HUGE thank you to everyone involved with @hellfestdotcom this year, holy shit. i'm so stoked for all of my friends and mutuals that played and got to be a part of something so wonderful through all of the bullshit y'all went through to get here. shoutout @rtfrecords / @newjerseyhardcore, @violentxminded and @movingmountainsrecovery for being wonderful to me. thank you to every single band i watched this weekend. if we've shared a laugh or spoke this weekend, thank you so much for everything. if i punched or kicked you at any point, sorry and you're welcome.

I have been going to shows in Dallas since my teens. I’ve grown into a man I am proud of and the people I have met from the beginning up until now have helped me become who I am. A lot of them aren’t pictured but I have tons of respect for the people who’ve welcomed me into this space and kept it alive. I’ve never started a band or even put on a show, all I’ve done is show up and mosh a lot and try to be a positive influence on the ones around me the best way I can. I’m not Texas born but DFW will always be my home. Thank you for the love and appreciation yall showed me this past weekend.🖤
