Oklahoma State Homecoming 10/24/2026

“Our little space in Stillwater.”
On a day of chaos across the Big 12, Oklahoma State took care of its own corner of the conference.
The Cowboys erased a one-point halftime deficit with 34 unanswered second-half points, beating Colorado 57-24 for their first homecoming win since 2023.
“We’re going to stay here, in our little space in Stillwater,” coach Eric Morris said afterward.
For the final two quarters Saturday, the Cowboys controlled that space.
Drew Mestemaker threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns as OSU piled up 598 yards of offense. Justin Bowick caught five passes for 138 yards and a touchdown, while Caleb Hawkins contributed 120 rushing yards and another 72 receiving.
“I thought offensively we were in rhythm pretty much the whole entire game,” Morris said. “I thought we were better in the red zone (in the second half).”
The defense made its own adjustments. After surrendering 279 yards before halftime, OSU held Colorado to 120 after the break and forced three second-half turnovers. LaDainian Fields finished with two interceptions, helping turn a close game into a comfortable finish.
A week after falling at Houston, the Cowboys improved to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 play. Colorado’s 24-23 lead disappeared as OSU scored the final 37 points.
Outside Stillwater, the conference had its chaos. Inside Boone Pickens Stadium, the Cowboys had their response.
