spent the evening at @boonesatl overlooking the beautiful bobby jones golf course and between the scenic patio views, seasonal fall menu, and elevated southern hospitality, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your social calendar!

@atlantamagazine Whiskey Festival had 45+ whiskey brands on the menu. The FOOD is what I’m still thinking about!

At @thepullmanyard , the pours were plentiful and I loved discovering new whiskeys. But the food stole the show.

@chefshawnosbey’s grilled drumsticks were smoky, juicy, with his own custom seasonings, and the perfect drizzle of Alabama white BBQ sauce.

@chefgarycaldwell of @marcusbarandgrille served alligator, a bold, craveable bite that proved adventurous eating belongs at a whiskey fest.

And the cocktail from @baiiraybandz of @boonesatl was my favorite sip of the night… balanced and easy to order twice.

Plenty more to see to see and do: dancing with @nikki.montana , cigar rolling, live college football, and non-alcoholic beverages. It was the perfect night with something to taste, watch, or sip around every corner.

A portion of proceeds also benefits @wholesomewavega

absolutely love the set up they have here!

from the @bobbyjonesgolfcourse swag to the lounge area you can watch all the sports after or before your tee time. I personally love the selection and vibe here!

the food & drinks

head into @boonesatl - one of the best golf dining experiences in Atlanta!

the full restaurant has a rotating seasonal menu of delicious bar food with cocktails you have to try!

Not playing a round? No problem! I come here to decompress and grab a quick bite 💅✨

the driving range

even though the mats aren’t ideallll, they have a great driving range to practice. Bonus points for the free bucket of range balls with your tee time ⛳️

even if it’s crowded, there’s always room to swing!

the putting course

this is a 9 hole putting course that is fun to play with friends! the course is next to the snack hut so it’s perfect to grab a drink and practice putting on a nice Atlanta day!

looking to just practice your aiming? They have a dedicated putting green near the driving range to also practice on before your round!

the short game course

this is a HIDDEN GEM - Cupp links is a 5 hole short game course that is FREE! no reservation required, just bring your putter and wedges. it’s also UNLIMITED so spend the whole afternoon if you want!

the course (hole 1) - magnolia course

par 4 - great start especially for newer golfers. the skyline view ✨

fun fact about the course - there’s two course with in the course! But how?! Well it’s a reversible course so you get two distinct experiences depending on the day!

PSA: beginners, this course is great to check out! 🙌Overall it’s relatively flat and has wide fairways, so not your typical narrowness and woodlands.

golf courses that make it worth the price tag 👀💸

Here are 3 things I look for when deciding if a course is actually worth spending my weekend AND money on.

It’s the little things 👀

Free tees, complimentary snacks, water, apples… these extras might seem small, but they definitely add to the overall experience.

And if I’m paying for a tee time, I love feeling like I’m getting a little more for my money.

A good post-round meal just hits different 🍔

Full-service restaurant? Amazing.
Well-stocked bev cart? Even better.

The food + drink options are absolutely part of the overall golf experience.

If I’m paying for a round, I want somewhere to warm up first ⛳️

A well-maintained practice area that’s actually open + complimentary range balls? That’s a serious bonus.

Especially for us beginners who need all the practice we can get 😂
