Soooo, my Mercs got a little dirty!!

Firstly huge shout out to @bootman.ie because although you can't see it those Superflys are converted SG from FG and they did an outstanding job.

Secondly, I don't normally post photos these days but @trevdunphy encouraged me to post this one. So it's his fault.

Finally, keep your eyes on the channel, coming soon, the reason these boots are so filthy

P.S my music choice amused me.

Riordon O’Rourke kicking a score for Leitrim in his Adidas X 18.1 SG boots.

These are one of the most sought after boots by GAA players and difficult to obtain on retro pages without paying heavily. They are loved for their light-weight, comfort and ball striking.

O’Rourke’s pair are the original, “Energy Mode” release, worn by players at the 2018 World Cup.

@tjreid12 scored 1-8 in a man-of-the-match performance at the weekend.

The Kilkenny man fired his side to the league final in his Adidas Predator Accuracy.1 boots. A long time @adidas man is wearing the “Crazyrush” colour-way that was released in July 2023.

Kerry’s Sean O’Shea has been rocking the Nike Tiempo Legend 10 boots this season.

The Kenmare man has continued his usual scoring exploits in the eye-catching Hyper Turquoise colour-way. A move away from the Adidas Predator Malice Control that have served him well the last few seasons.

Instead of @zidane and @davidbeckham…

If @adidasfootball did a legend wearing the new preds…there is only one iconic they could choose.

The question is

Which ones would #CiaranMcDonald wear?

Development of Gamespeed 🔥

How many opportunities do athletes get to improve their ability to beat players 1 on 1 in training? 🤨

Do you have a progression for improving your athletes ability to execute in game-specific scenarios? 🤔

Do you afford your athletes the opportunity to try new things and fail forwards? 👀

Do you know the KPIs for successful performance in each task? 📈

Have you developed your coaching eye so you know what to look for? 👁️

Can you communicate that effectively with each athlete and guide them towards improved performance? 🗣️

All things to think about if you’re coaching in a team-sport ⚽️🏐🏉🏑

The landscape of S&C is changing 😬

Our job no longer is confined to effective coaching in the gym 🫣

You’ve got to add more tools to your toolbox 🧰
