What a view. What a night. 🔥

Travis Tritt, Aaron Watson, Walker Montgomery and more lit up the stage at Concert In The Country this past weekend in Magnolia, TX, and the view from above says it all. A crowd brought together by country music and a cause worth showing up for: Boots For Troops. 🇺🇸

Thank you to every performer, volunteer, planner, sponsor, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this weekend happen. And to everyone who came out, sang along, and supported the cause, thank you for being part of it. ❤️

Before the live painting came all the preparation. 🎨

When the opportunity came together to paint live at Boots for Troops' Concert in the Country, I knew I wanted to create something special.

A 30×40 acrylic portrait, built one value and one wave at a time.

With my painting style, every little curve plays a part in bringing the bigger picture to life. And with only six hours to paint at the event, there was a whole lot of work to do beforehand! 😅

Here's a little glimpse of the process before I packed everything up and took it to the concert.

Next up... my very first live painting experience! ❤️

Some voices are timeless. Travis Tritt is proof. 🎶🔥

What an absolute honor to have a country music legend take the stage at Concert in the Country! Travis sounded INCREDIBLE, and hearing those iconic songs live was something truly special.

Being able to capture moments like these through my lens is something I’ll never take for granted. Truly an honor to document such an unforgettable performance!

Even more meaningful knowing it was all part of a weekend dedicated to supporting our military heroes through the incredible mission of Boots for Troops. 🇺🇸❤️

Thank you, Travis Tritt, for sharing your incredible talent and being part of a night that meant so much!

What a great night at the 11th Annual Boots For Troops Concert in the Country! 🤠🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the entire staff, the volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to put on such a great event. Y’all treated us right, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.

It was great meeting new fans, visiting with folks, hearing their stories, and even getting to share prayers with some of y’all. Those moments mean just as much to me as getting up on stage and playing music.

I also enjoyed getting to visit with the guys in Walker Montgomery’s band. A whole bunch of talented dudes who are just as good of people as they are musicians. Always good to meet great people and make new friends along this journey.

All around, it was a great night with some great people, and I sure hope we get to come back and do it again!

Thank y’all for making us feel right at home. God bless! 🙏🤘

Tomorrow's the day! 🇺🇸🎸 Concert in the Country is THIS Friday and Saturday, Oct 16 and 17, at Show Sports Farm in Magnolia, and there are still some tickets available.

Friday: Aaron Watson, Walker Montgomery and Bubba Westly. Gates at 5:30 PM.
Saturday: Travis Tritt, Josh Ward, Scooter Brown, and Steve Helms and Ben McPherson. Gates at 4 PM.

I've had the honor of shooting this one, and these are a few of my favorites from last year. Great music, great people, and every ticket supports Boots For Troops and our military families. This is an event you don't want to miss!
