A little show and tell of me and my work 🖤

I’ve had part time jobs throughout starting this journey to help pick up the income slack. Currently, running my businesses is my full time job and I couldn’t be more grateful.

COLD CALL YOUR DREAM CLIENTS 👏 I swear to god this works wonders.

✨

Hand painted bike frame for @ventumracing ! I want to do another one - any bike companies want to work with me? ‼️

I also love producing shoots and events 🫶🏼

Turns out, a cup of coffee can cause quite a bit of trouble. ☕️

This is me + @mermarbro , drinking Buck Wild and holding up an old article about the little event that somehow became @boottanfest

The plot twist? Boot Tan wouldn’t exist without Buck Wild.

Six years ago, Boot Tan started as a wild little idea dreamed up through the coffee company: a bunch of women, a backcountry lap, and a whole lot of unbridled joy.

Then things got bigger. The lap became a festival. The festival became a movement. And somehow we’re now planning the 6th annual @boottanfest .

So when you buy a bag of Buck Wild, you’re not just buying coffee.

You’re supporting a small, woman-owned business that built another small, woman-owned business. You’re helping keep the lights on, the coffee roasting, the weird ideas coming, and the revolution caffeinated.

Basically: your morning coffee has consequences. Good ones.
Drink coffee. Fund women’s ideas. Cause a little trouble.
☕️⚡️🥾

As an amputee, I thought I’d never do a LOT of things.
I thought I’d never mountain bike.
I thought I’d never climb or hike.
I thought I’d never scuba dive.
I thought I’d never date.
I thought I’d never get married.
I thought I’d never have close friends.
I was wrong about a lot of things.
Some of those beliefs came from internalized ableism, the idea that my amputation automatically meant there were certain things I couldn’t do or certain parts of life I wouldn’t get to experience.
And I don’t want to pretend my amputation doesn’t come with real limitations. Sometimes things ARE harder. Sometimes I need adaptations, extra planning, or help.
But there is a huge difference between:
“This might be harder for me.”
and
“I can’t do this.”
I’ve spent a lot of my life learning that difference.
If you’re a new amputee, or you’ve ever looked at your life after amputation and thought, “I’ll never be able to...”, I hope you give yourself permission to question that thought.
You don’t have to prove that you can do everything.
But you also don’t have to decide what your life will look like before you’ve had the chance to find out. ❤️
What is something you once thought you’d never be able to do as an amputee?

mi amor & amigos. Taurus birthdays. Girlfriend birthdays. Best friend visit. Frolicking in the forest. Summer of love and marriage! Boot Tan Fest 2026.

Not pictured is the in-between of entrepreneurial productivity and bringing in more calm. Less of ‘yes i can’ to fill up the plate and more ‘yes i desire to’ intentionality of filling the cup. Limited fringe on the fence things and more absolutely definitely interested things.
yano what im sayin🤪
xoxo!
