Mannnn no matter what sport I played, I’ve always played with passion and high energy because that’s just who I was and will always be! With that said, it felt so good to get back on that court with all those hoopers and play in front of a great crowd! It took me back to my high school days. I can’t wait until the next alumni game. Can we be honest?

Merging two lives, personalities, experiences, and realities into one can be hard. Anthony and I have been married for eight years and we’ve spent most of this time trying to figure it out. Trying our best to give our best, to love unconditionally, forgive over and over again, and refuse to give up on what God put together.

Together, we’ve experienced losses, uncertainty and struggle. But, what I love most is that we we’ve also experienced wins, blessings that only could be from God, and victory in so much of our lives.

I am so proud of the work and the effort that we’ve both put into our marriage and getting to the place of truly being best friends, partners, and change agents.

One of the things that broke us free was seeing and hearing the other person for what they need instead of what they did wrong. So, instead of fighting with each other, we’re fighting for each other!

Don’t give up on your spouse, if you believe that God has ordained your marriage, and that it aligns with His will, you have to fight but do the right kind of fighting. It’s worth it 🖤

This is family. 🏴‍☠️ I am so proud of being a product Merrillville. It has made me who I am. I love the basketball program. As a former player and coach, I have learned that this kind of fraternity is not common. It is special. Catching up with former players was great. @merrillville_bb @tjlux35 and @bopat10 have made it a brotherhood that is always welcoming and it’s always love. The Alumni Game was great!
