This coming Tuesday! @radiatorhospital perform at Your Bar on Earth 10/27 with @dusk_on_instaglam
Radiator Hospital is an outlet for the highly romantic
and often noisy punk-bred pop songs of Michigan
songwriter Sam Cook-Parrott. Inspired as much by the
home-recording aesthetic and acoustic guitar twee
punk of the K Records roster built around its more
voluminous sects of full-band power pop, the first
Radiator Hospital cassette materialized in 2010;
Cook-Parrott recorded all the instruments himself. By
the time he moved to Philadelphia, signed with Salinas
Records, and issued Radiator Hospital's official
full-length debut, Something Wild, in 2013, he'd found
recording assistance from friends in the Philly scene
and had put together a band. The group continued to
mix stripped-down guitar songs with more vitalized,
full-band arrangements, putting out albums of fuzzy
and angularly melodic songs like 2023's Can't Make Any
Promises. Local support @comfysongs

@manerimat and myself are in Rochester, NY where we will present 𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙎𝙔𝙇𝙑𝘼𝙉𝙄𝘼𝙉 𝘿𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀 (multimedia version) at @bopshoprecords which is and should be an American institution for all the music contained and presented in between those walls 🎶

The concert is part of 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙤𝙠 – 𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙤𝙠 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, a project developed with generous support from the @tulipanfoundation in New York, and based on the original Jazz Updates RETRACING BARTÓK project in Timișoara. Both projects are dedicated to investigating and reimagining the extraordinary folk collection of BÉLA BARTÓK.

The performance will feature video projections of rare archival footage, audio from Bartók’s original wax cylinder recordings, handwritten manuscripts, and photographs taken by Bartók’s himself during his research trips (courtesy of the Bartók Archives in Budapest).

The music of @andyboay is a twisting and tuneful psychedelic odyssey in miniature that gives full expression to indie rock's lo-fi soundworld tendency, while existing just outside of time. Vibrant, colourful melodies on Mellotron and electric guitar give wing to a boisterous new composer-performer persona with a retrofuturist Laurie Anderson sheen. "I'm comfortable with the aspects of my personality that maybe seem a bit more showy or flamboyant," he says. "And old enough to know that I can be comfortable with the aging man, mellowing out sort of vibe." Built from loops on a Yamaha eight-track cassette recorder, a pervasive heartbeat rhythm blurs the boundaries between tracks - in fact, the A side's three tracks are really distinct parts of a single flow, and seem to open in media res: "You move on / An ocean, you've been here / You know it / But you can't recall / How you made it through''. A shipwrecked sailor's affirmation of life, maybe, or the mantra that returns the storyteller to the beginning. All the while sheets of reverb wash in and out like saltwater on sand.”

🚨JUST ANNOUNCED🚨 @hiroemusic
HIROE's architecture is built over the walls of sound created by the band’s three guitarists towering over the foundation of the huge sounding bass and powerful drumming. The larger-than-life sound of the band is forged by a carefully selected all-star line up of producers, their debut being recorded by Mario Quintero (Spotlights), mixed by Matt Bayles (Caspian, Mono, Russian Circles, Isis, Pelican) and mastered by Will Yip (Caspian, Circa Survive).

Hannah Wicklund is a South-Carolina-born rock musician who has spent more than two decades connecting people over her raw vocal power, world class guitar playing and awe inspiring live performances. @hannahwicklund

Blending the raw power of rock n’ roll, soul and psychedelic, Wicklund creates music for those seeking authenticity, human connection and creative freedom in an increasingly disconnected world. Her career began as a child performing with her band on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. After graduating high school early, she hit the road and hasn’t looked back, performing in over 20 countries from intimate clubs to some of the world’s biggest stages.

Over the years, Wicklund has earned praise from Rolling Stone, Guitar World and Billboard, while sharing the stage with global acts like Greta Van Fleet and Marcus King. Her commanding live performances, musicianship and fiercely independent creative vision have helped build a devoted audience spanning generations and walks of life.

Now, Hannah enters her most ambitious chapter yet with her fourth studio album, War on Women; Calling All Good Men (Out 8/28/26). Across 13 tracks, she moves fearlessly through rock, soul, blues, folk, gospel, psychedelia, and pop, creating a record that is both beauty and beast. Born from her experiences navigating power, betrayal, love and the expectations placed upon women to make themselves smaller, the album is deeply personal, a call-to-arms for change and a tale of heartbreak in strange circumstances. It lays bare the obstacles Hannah overcame to take back control of her career and offers hope for the future.
