SITE PROGRESS | BELGRAVE

A kitchen taking shape in the Belgrave hills.
Set within a beautiful home overlooking the surrounding bushland, this kitchen brings together natural materials and earthy colour inspired by its setting.

Our clients have carefully renovated their home, and we came on board to design the kitchen, bringing the materials and finishes together into a considered scheme. Painted natural oak cabinetry, complementary laminate finishes and warm timber joinery are now in place, with the stone benchtops still to come.

We love seeing the design come to life on site, particularly in a home where the surrounding landscape has played such an important role in the material palette. Close-up of a kitchen in progress in Belgrave, featuring muted green painted natural oak cabinetry, integrated finger-pull drawers, a mirror-backed niche and curved timber open shelving. A glimpse of the timber joinery and protective floor coverings shows the renovation is still underway.

A modern pitched roof against the gum trees and grass doing exactly what good architecture should do … work with the landscape, not against it.

Monument cladding on the exterior for that dark, grounded contrast. Inside, @bordproducts lined walls and ceilings bring warmth and texture, while burnished concrete underfoot gives it that raw, industrial edge.

Form, function and a whole lot of nature. 🌳

The past few weeks have been so busy, not going to lie - we are absolutely exhausted...! I only sat down on Friday and pulled the footage off my camera to edit the video together... we watched it together last night before I uploaded it and we just looked at each other like, no wonder we feel so tired 🥱

Thankfully the finish line is in sight!

So head over to our YouTube channel and watch episode three and check out what we've been up to! The how, the what and the why! Oh... and make sure to leave a comment 🤝

Ps - Happy Father's Day to Al (who's currently out squeezing a surf in) and to all of the fathers and father-figures out there! 🧡
