We met in hospitality twelve years ago, as wine educators in the Napa Valley, both coming from a background in wine, events, and hospitality. I from California, Nicco from Tuscany. ⁠

We often reflect on the incredible serendipity of us finding each other in this vast universe, two people so passionate about hospitality, two people who care so deeply about ⁠serving others.⁠

🇮🇹 Bagno Vignoni è un piccolo scrigno ricco di sorprese. Pochi vicoli in pietra si snodano intorno alla grande vasca di acqua termale che rappresenta la piazza e il cuore del borgo. Anticamente le terme di Bagno Vignoni hanno ristorato personaggi illustri, come la famiglia Medici e Santa Caterina da Siena.
Dietro al borgo si estende il Parco dei Mulini, un’area naturale che si affaccia sulla Val d’Orcia, attraversata da torrenti di acqua calda.

🇬🇧 Bagno Vignoni is a tiny hamlet of big surprises. The few stone alleys twist around the great thermal pool which is the core and the main square of the town. Even though is not possible to swim in it, Bagno Vignoni’s thermal pool was anciently used by remarkable historic characters, such as the Medici family and Santa Caterina from Siena.
Behind the hamlet there is the Mills’ Park, a natural area crossed by hot streams, surrounded by the Val d’Orcia landscape.

I fell in love with Rome 😍

More than I ever imagined!

Many of you know I live in Tuscany (sharing this reel from my @borgodisotto account), but sadly I’ve not had the opportunity to travel for many years 🙈 In fact my husband Nicco and I never even had our honeymoon we’ve been working so hard for so long! This was like a mini honeymoon for us! 🥰♥️

It was just for three days, for the Jacob Collier concert, and it was absolutely amazing 🤩 All of it! Rome off season (November) was perfection.

Rome is romance! It’s enchanting, it’s awe-inspiring 😍

We stayed in Parioli, about a 15 minute bus ride + 15 minute walk away from the Pantheon which we loved. It was lovely to stay in a quieter more peaceful neighborhood. We took the train from Tuscany, then walked and bussed around Rome spontaneously.

We stayed by the Villa Borghese, the vast gardens are breathtakingly beautiful!!

Have you ever fallen in love with a place more than you imagined? I’d love to know where that might be! And if you were smitten by Rome I’d love to know that too!! 😊
