48 Laws of Padel
Law 01

Play the right shot, not the highlight.

Most players lose matches chasing winners instead of building pressure.

Padel is not about proving how good your best shot is.
It’s about proving how disciplined your worst decision can become.

The smartest shot is usually the one that gives you another ball.
Another reset.
Another opportunity to make your opponent uncomfortable.

One more shot. Always.

That’s the philosophy behind Boring Padel.

Boring isn’t passive.
Boring is calculated.
Boring is patient.
Boring wins.

When starting your padel journey remember these 3 goals in this order.
1. Return the ball over the net ✅
2. Don’t hit the glass on the opponents back wall before allowing it to bounce off the ground. ✅
3. Return the ball in the middle of the court to reduce your chances of an unforced error, remember that is your opponents job 😘

Developing touch taught me something important…
Control > Power 🎯 (even if smacking it feels cooler 💥)

Hand-eye coordination and patience are the real MVPs 🧠👐 Major 🔑 right there.

If I could go back in time before falling in love with this sport, I’d tell myself:
“Hitting hard is easy, bro. Hitting smart is hard.” 😂

You’ve gotta do the hard stuff so your decisions get easier — kind of like life… but with a racket and less therapy 🧘‍♂️

Next time you’ve got an easy shot… don’t make it hard 😉
Boring? Maybe.
Effective? Absolutely.
Winning? Always sexy 🏆

If you’re in NYC, come train with me @padelandgreenpoint 🗽
Respectfully (but not too respectfully),

So, what’s @boringpadel all about? It’s not about flashy winners or trick shots—it’s about a mindset. The kind that wins the net, tests your patience, and makes your opponents quietly question their life choices. It’s a practice of endurance: rally after rally, willing to suffer a little (or a lot) just to break serve, take the golden point, and finish what you started. Whatever it takes, all for the love of the game.

Catch me at @padelandgreenpoint on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
