People keep asking me how I felt about the 2026 Barefoot Shoe Expo, and I keep saying “the 3rd time’s the charm.” That and I have the best team ever.

Justin, Samantha, and I first started with try-on events for 2 years (shoutout to the OG brands that supported those early events!!) and then moved to a full blown expo in 2024. We’ve been figuring out how to do this better along the way, learning by doing. Some of the lessons have been painful, and more than once we’ve been ready to burn it all to the ground. But when I get to see all of you, my team, and the brands I’ve grown up in this space with it all feels worth it.

Last Saturday, October 25, we had the honor of joining the annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser hosted by @journeytraining 💗 It was such a meaningful day filled with strength, hope, and connection.
