Love making these flower and bud “frogs”. They’re perfect for smaller little flowers or just cut stems short for roses and others.

There’s enough room to put water in them and they are so cute when they’re filled out with flowers all around.

I’ll have these April 30 out at @providencefarmnc . Are you going?

Read something recently on @buzzfeed that has stayed with me about gender stereotypes. It shared how boys/men shouldn’t be put into a box & not allowed or encouraged to do or like things that are considered more feminine due to the stigma. One contributor shared how he wished someone would gift him a beautiful bouquet of flowers bc why not? Another talked about how he wish he could paint his nails, but can’t bc it would turn into a whole thing about his sexuality.

Flowers are beautiful & why can’t boys/men enjoy them too? Reading all of this made my heart sink. I’m a mom of 2 boys & a girl. Without thinking twice, my youngest boy sees his sister paint her nails & will want his painted. So… we paint them. And if he wanted to do it for the rest of his life, he should feel okay to do so. I just never thought much about how he might not bc of the stigma.

Because this article would not leave me, I thought about how I could help contribute to change in a small way. So I decided to gift my 2 boys w/ their own bouquet of flowers. I reached out to my dear friend & client, Katelyn who owns @katelyn.and.kale & had her make up 2 sets. She made up 2 beautiful bouquets (also grown by her too!) & I gave them to my boys. The smile on their faces. Their sweat voices filled w/ gratitude. Priceless. I will now add flowers into the mix of things to surprise them with.

#GiveFlowersToYourBoys bc they’re beautiful & will make them happy! If you’re in the Greensboro area, then grab some bouquets from @katelyn.and.kale for $15. They’re gorgeous!💫
