Borromeo ‘26

I had an incredible time at this festival and learned not only more ways to improve my playing but also how to be more present in the moment. Being surrounded by such stunning scenery all the time was relaxing and inspiring beyond words. It was a pleasure to have met more people who share this love for music and to have formed connections that I hope will cross again 🫶

This summer at the Borromeo Music Festival, I had the privilege of sitting down with some truly remarkable musicians and educators to talk about music, teaching, artistry, and building a meaningful life in the arts.

Thank you to @paulhuangviolin , @davidfungofficial , @joankwuon , @jmh_on_the_road , @lorenzgamma, and @tsu.ming for your generosity, wisdom, and inspiring conversations.
A special thank you to the lovely videographer and photographer @corina.gamma for being such a special companion behind the scenes.
I’m so grateful to have been trusted with this project, and I can’t wait to see the final interviews come to life!

Before the music began, the mountains had their own opening act.🇨🇭The last time I performed in Switzerland was 10 years ago at the Tonhalle Zürich, and the return was deeply memorable. I had the most beautiful week at the @borromeomusic festival filled with inspiring musicians, wonderful friendships, and memories I won’t soon forget. Thank you for hosting a beautiful week of music! ⛷️❄️🎶🏔️

Two weeks in Switzerland was such a blast! Met some amazing musicians, performed in Chapels in the Swiss Alps, and explored Italian Switzerland!

I can’t thank @borromeomusic enough for this opportunity which felt like a once in a lifetime experience. The faculty this year were truly inspirational and had so much knowledge to give to us students. Thank you Professors Joan Kwon ( @joankwuon ) and Kyung Sun Lee ( @ks.lee111 )I absolutely loved our lessons together!
Also a big shoutout to my professors and directors of Borromeo Dr. Gamma and Dr. Tsu ( @lorenzgamma @tsu.ming )! Thank you for allowing me to participate in this festival 🙏 I do hope to come back next year and hopefully see the same people I met on this journey.

Pieces performed:
Bach - Partita No. 1 in B minor Sarabande and Double
