Part Charleston garden party, part New Orleans soirée, and entirely its own, this is the kind of wedding guests remember long after the last song.

From the brass band procession to the layered reception filled with patterned linens, wicker pendants, garden florals, and tailored color, every choice worked toward creating a distinct sense of place. The chartreuse bar, floral textiles, vintage-inspired paper goods, and collected mix of textures all contributed to a celebration that felt immersive from start to finish.

I kid, but annual price increases are a necessity in this economy, and with the level of demand I receive, especially during Spring and Fall, I feel like my rates are still incredibly reasonable. When you’re factoring in value for the money…. experience level, ability to remain calm in high pressure situations, ability to pivot throughout a morning, talent to execute a variety of looks, and a kit to service all the different types of people out there, while maintaining sanitization standards… you generally really do get what you pay for. I hope no one thinks I’m overcharging, but, if you do, I promise that I’m worth every penny and more, and I’d love to prove it to you. 😘

Seriously, my brides are the best. 🥰 I love Rachel so much. Not only is she incredibly beautiful, she’s also just a dang good human, and so much fun. I got to be there with her from (surprise) proposal to engagement photos, the rehearsal, and, finally, the wedding day. I’m so grateful for this life, all the happiness and love I’m surrounded by all the time, and for the clients who turn into friends. ❤️

We don’t just do cake.
We create your cake!
We buy the ingredients and hand pick the fruit for your cake.
We choose the right cake pans for your cake.
We measure and weight and mix your cake.
We bake and cool your layers.
We mix fresh buttercream just for your cake.
Then in the wee hours of the morning, I take a sip of iced coffee and get to work. With full pastry bags the magic happens. With clean palette knives strokes are made on your cake. Then around 4am, your cake is ready to rest.
I grab a few hours of sleep to get ready to deliver your cake.
After your cake stand and my work bag is loaded in the suv, your cake is placed in a @cakesafe. That is your “insurance” your cake will arrive in perfect shape.
At your venue, I will purposefully place the cake on the stand.
And there she is! Your cake! The cake you’ve been talking about. The cake that you took time to think about. From start to finish your cake is a little over 24hrs old.
And yes, I take my job personally. Because you take it personally.

Leigh + Cole’s wedding weekend at the Gibbs Museum in downtown Charleston was the definition of timeless class.

From the historic streets outside to the refined, elegant atmosphere inside, every moment carried that unmistakable downtown Charleston aesthetic, graceful, stylish, and effortlessly beautiful.
