WEEKEND RECAP | MAJOR LEAGUE MT & FUTURES MDL

What a weekend for the team! 🙏🏽🔥

We had 10 competitors and 13 bouts representing our team, pushing their limits, stepping outside their comfort zones, and discovering what they’re truly capable of. That’s what it’s all about — growth, discipline, and the courage to test yourself!

🏆 Congratulations to our champions, @ant_norm and Christian! We’re incredibly proud of every single one of our boys who stepped up and represented the team. And of course, a huge shoutout to our superstar Lylah, who competed THREE TIMES this weekend! ⭐️💪🏽

This marks our team’s second time competing in the tournament, and we’ve now brought home a total of 5 CHAMPIONS!

The results are something to celebrate, but the real victory is watching our athletes grow, gain experience, build confidence, and prove to themselves what they’re capable of.

A huge thank you to @majorleaguemt for providing a platform where athletes from all over can showcase their skills, represent their teams, and continue to grow in their craft. 🙏🏽

We keep showing up. We keep putting in the work. We keep growing. This is only the beginning! Sabai Sabai 🙏🏽

Man I got so much to say in this post but it’ll be damn near a book if I was to put it all on here. I be yapping like crazy. ADHD Magnet 🧲

First of all, ALL GLORY to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing my hands for war and my fingers for battle. Thank you Lord for this body of armor you have gifted me. Much love and respect to my coaches and teammates for being such amazing souls and just good people in general. Respect to my opponent for getting back up after getting knocked down and continuing to fight. I’ve only been doing this for 9 months but one thing that I have learned is that you gotta have a strong mind to do this combat sport. With all the traumatic stuff I been through and seen in this life, man my mind feels stronger than ever. Feel like I can take on almost anything life throws at me.

Why I started Muy Thai:
Want to test my brain under pressure.
Love that adrenaline feeling.
Strong Mindset.
Natural Athleticism and Power.
Scared to get beat up. (Even though I got beat up a couple times.)
Want to protect my daughter from evil men in this world.
Insecure about being short, lightskin, and talking too much and also people looking at me like I’m a “pretty boy” 🌝
Daddy and Mommy Issues.
Childhood Trauma
Okay let me relax I’m getting too deep lol yall don’t care anyway 🤣

@_rey_reyyy_ @_gabedavid_ Man yall are amazing coaches and the fact that yall breathe Muy Thai 7 days a week AND are good dads, man that is so admirable to me. I can’t wait to get my baby on the bag 🥊 .

I LOVE YOU ALL. LETS ALL STRIVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL SOULS TO ONE ANOTHER IN THIS SICK WORLD. LIFE IS SHORT. GOD BLESS ANYONE READING THIS 🙏 🫂

🥊 BUSY WEEKS. HARD WORK. NO DAYS OFF.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the team, and honestly, it’s been hard to capture every moment—but one thing is certain: this team has been putting in WORK. 🔥

Two weeks ago, our team competed across two events in just two days, with 10 competitors and 12 fights between the @majorleaguemt MDL and @point_boxing / @pbsc_global on the weekend of August 29th.

Every fighter stepped up, represented, and gained valuable experience. Win or lose, every bout is another opportunity to learn, grow, and sharpen the craft. 🥊

We couldn’t be more proud of this team. They continue to show up, put in the rounds, push through the hard days, and strive for greatness every single day.

And we’re not slowing down. 👊

🌺 🌹NEXT UP: HAWAII and ROSEVILLE 🌹🌺

This weekend, @925_ezra and @ben_casanova13 will step into competition representing the Bay Area and our gym. Also @boski__bo and Fabio will be at the @technical_bouts_pmt in Roseville.

We’re behind you every step of the way. Go out there, trust your training, represent with pride, and give it everything you’ve got!

GOOD LUCK, BOYS! 🥊🔥
