Well, well, well! I go from getting other people featured in @essence to being featured in an article about one of the most influential and important designers of the 20th century. For @raycornelius and I, It has always been about restoring the legacy of Patrick Kelly not just telling his story, many have done that and we are grateful that they have added to the legacy but @lovepatrickmovie is bigger. This film represents a time when creativity was vibrant and fueled the world, much like what we are experiencing today. But it is also a cautionary tale, again like what we see in this new generation. The film is purposeful, intentional and absolutely joyful! These are words that describe Patrick's life, because he was all this and more. Thank you @essence and @bossibb for an amazing tribute to the film and our beloved subject #patrickkelly ❤️#blackdesigners #parisfashion #urbanworldfilmfestival #black_design_collective

Welcome to my New York Fashion Week Diary 📖

The last few days of my life have been filled with so much fashion, all things fierce and everything fabulous including:

👠Sitting front row at @csiriano Spring/Summer 2027 runway show.

😍 Stepping inside @chanelofficial’s Café Mademoiselle and discovering the House’s newest fragrance, Crush Absolu.

🔥 Experiencing the world of @willychavarria at the @culted pop-up in Meatpacking District.

🐍 Walking through @bvlgari’s breathtaking Serpenti Infinito takeover of the High Line, including the monumental golden auruBOROS installation.

💄 Sipping the Salted Mocha Butter & Oat Latte at @summerfridays pop-up at @caffeparadiso.nyc. The lip butters were everything!

⚡️ Enjoying @alaninutrition’s The Coven Club, a five-floor SoHo takeover filled with fall flavors and fun.

💌 Exploring the intersection of fashion, advocacy and menstrual health with the team at @rifcare.

🛍️ Closing out at @raisefashionnow’s annual showcase, celebrating independent and international designers.

Thanks to all the brands and designers for an incredible experience. NYFW had your girl booked, busy and very well dressed!

Who decided sunshine had a season? ☀️

@byrdie featured Solar Canopy among the best modern solar fragrances. The assignment: make sunlight wearable. The route there: an extinct Hawaiian flower, a preserved specimen, scent-molecule clues, vetiver, amberwood and Jérôme Epinette.
