Medal Monday hits different 🏅

One week after the Chicago Marathon, ayer nos tocó celebrar a nuestros primeros Vaqueros marathonistas.

Felicidades, marathonistas. This is just the beginning!

Time & a Half Relay🇲🇽🙌🏼

A 12 mile route divided into 3 mile segments per person ✨

Ran my 3 miles at 7:55 pace after an 18 mile long run yesterday and only 3 hours of sleep😭

I was so tired but the power of community and friendship kept me going🫂

I love the Chicago running community so much❤️‍🔥

Energy is contagious. Find people who are chasing goals, putting in the work, and refusing to stay comfortable. The right circle won’t compete with your growth.

Every great story has a beginning.

This was ours.

Chapter 1 wasn’t just about running miles—it was about bringing people together, creating something from nothing, and proving that a community built on respect, passion, and heart can become a family.

Vaqueros isn’t just a name.
It’s a mindset.
It’s about showing up for each other, running with courage, lifting others up, and never leaving anyone behind.

To every runner, walker, volunteer, friend, and family member… thank you for believing in this vision.

A special thank you to @lucynegrete and Venados Run Club, @gyp42k and @nikerunning @hegewisch_nutrition_ @219runclub @pumasrunclub, @hectorm1084, @ddjeddie, and the Chicago Police Department – 4th District (@cpd04district) for helping make Chapter 1 unforgettable.

Most importantly, thank you to every Vaquero. This movement belongs to all of us.

This is the beginning of Vaqueros Run Club.

A community.
A family.
A legacy that starts with Chapter 1.

No Fear. No Rules. Stay Vaquero. Run Wild. ❤️‍🔥🤠

Vaqueros run club After Hours.
Chapter 1: The New Era was a huge success.
New faces, new friendships, and a community that embraced the Vaqueros spirit. This is more than just running—it’s about building a family where everyone belongs.

This is only the beginning. 🤠❤️
