The people who loved you long before your wedding day deserve a place in its story. Looking through Dylan and Michael’s wedding at Glen Manor House, I keep coming back to these moments. Dylan leaning into her mom while getting ready. The expression on her dad’s face when he sees her. The way family members watch from their seats, sometimes with more emotion than the couple ever gets to see. That’s one of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding. While you’re taking it all in, I’m watching the people around you, too. There is so much happening in those little exchanges, and they become such an important part of remembering how the day felt. For couples planning their wedding photography, leave a little room to spend time with the people who matter most. Those moments deserve to be remembered.
