My heart is so so full. Thank you to @wissahickonbrewingcompany for hosting Handle with Care 2 and to every single artist who so generously donated a piece of artwork for our auction. We raised $3,500 to be donated to The Greenberg Pancreatic Cancer Institute at Fox Chase Cancer Center in memory of my Dad who lost his battle with the disease in 2021. I can proudly say that over the past eight years of fundraising, we’ve been able to donate a total of $16,680 towards the future of pancreatic cancer care. Thank you to @john.bickel.music and @skip.winters for absolutely annihilating the *stage*. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better team to join me in this fight. Thank you @learytheguiri for offering your time and capturing the night through the lense. Every year I’m reminded why I continue to do this and every year I’m reminded just how special it is when folks come together.

Till next time🫶🏻

In 2019 when my father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, my family’s world flipped upside down. We did everything the doctors suggested, but still, in 2021 we lost him to this vicious disease. Over the past seven years, I’ve held a fundraiser each year to support Pancreatic Cancer research in his name, and now memory- raising over $13,000. Losing a parent is never easy, I’m lucky to have had 27 years with my Dad, but not having him around for all of those adult milestones is a reminder of how much more he deserved. If I can contribute to someone else’s story lasting just a bit longer, that’s all I can really ask for.

When I started asking artists who I’ve crossed paths with over the years if they’d be willing to donate a piece for a new fundraiser idea I had- I really wasn’t sure what to expect. It shouldn’t have been a surprise that I’m surrounded by loving, supportive, generous, like-minded people. I am truly overwhelmed by the talented people who have so selflessly joined me in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. I hope you find the time today to see all of our artwork in person 💜
