Wawa Inti has turned 2 🥲 I’m still processing how fast my sun is growing and how quickly my life, body and mind have changed…

Being a mother means understanding that u no longer belong solely to yourself; u now belong to someone else too… to a new human being whom u must walk alongside… perhaps that is part of transcending.

Perhaps embarking on the path to becoming an ancestor involves multiplying your soul or body
Creating flesh of your flesh, blood of your blood &/or spirit of your spirit.

I’m grateful for the blessings and protection of my grandmoms. Thank you for teaching me to love and for allowing me to create life; thank you for the care and guidance.

Thank you to the beautiful people with whom I share the raising of Inti.

Thank you for giving me the time to watch him grow and may there be many more years for all of us 🙌🏾 Ashe!!!
