@tribeca has been a time! I always love the community that happens in spaces like @impactloungeofficial and @mpachollywoodbureau, featuring amazing directors like @pagliji, @lizziesarge, @robeimbriano, and many others.

It is clear that the ecosystem for independent film support is growing and social sector organizations like @dorisdukefdn and @fordfoundation are leading the way. @film4goodfund is excited to be in collaboration with @delvonworthy, @collectivemox, @speaklion, @blackmanfilmsllc, and the list is growing.

Burning Man is primarily known for it's excesses; extravagant parties, celebrity DJs, sex-forward theme camps, the high use of recreational drugs and psychedelics. Yes those are a part of its culture. But within its excesses are also lessons in immediacy, faith, self-reliance, self-expression, civic responsibility, and inclusion. One of the most important lessons of Burning Man is to let go. And let go we did. Of our attachment to how we expected the rest of the week to go. And in that letting go we leaned on our principles. We showed compassion towards each other. We shared what we had. We laughed and danced in the exact moment we were in, not the moment we wished we were in.
