☆ Tagging Tog ☆

Tagging my first Tog ever. I’ve never really tagged Tog before, and I’ve always been very curious as to what our inshore population of does. Where they go, where they come back to, or whether they stay local. I know we have a very strong population of resident Tog. However I can almost pinpoint to the week where the Back Bay Tog bite goes from Hot, to nonexistent. So I’m excited to see where this next chapter of tagging goes.

☆ WOOOOOO! Meets Pineapple Vibes ☆

I hand the Honor of having the Legendary @chucktymanmanny and @chrisper_fishing out for rope session. This was a few years in the making, but well worth the wait. From the second we made eye contact walking down the dock it was nothing but good laughs and good times. Oh, the fishing… that was great too. With Chris striking hot with the first few fish. It took a little bit to dial in the bites, but then it was game on. With double digit numbers and Uncle Chuck scoring his first of many and his new PB. Best of all I turned Chuck in not only a believer of the Pineapple Vibes, but a TRUE BELIEVER 🍍Thank you so very much Fellas, this is a day I’ll never forget.

☆ Late Season Flatty’s ☆

With the air and water Temps still warm. I’ve been having fun finding some late season Flounder. It’s a species that has fallen by the wayside for me over the years. It’s been a refreshing and easy change of pace from the regular summer time grind.

Everytime you get in the water there something new to learn as you wait for that savage pull!

Something I do wanna say is what do we think about there being no regulations? on an unbelievable fishery we have here!!

Fishing 1/2oz and 3/8oz @bottomsweeperjigs super tight to vertical structure!

This Obsession Is Real..

Fishing for a structure based fish that doesn’t on live on bottom structure makes this fishing super interesting.. if you aren’t on the structure you aren’t getting bit bottom line.. if you cant get the jig down on it probably shouldn’t fish It! These are some of the simple lesson that can change your whole day!

Then adding the light tackle aspect to It fishing jigs 1/4 to 1/2oz and 3000 size @daiwausa make it’s even more addicting!

SHEEPTEMBER

This was the first leg of an all weekend sheep bender! Was able to get a good window both Thursday and Friday to fish after work and made It worth! 6 fish total between these two days! They were hungry and high up in the water column!

I have to say this because I see many guys trying and many questions being asked as Im trying to enjoy my time. These fish live on the structure and It can be all over it not just the bottom.. fish close to It and fish the whole structure!

Loving the lessons Im learning and turning this into one of my other passions!

GEAR USED:
Reel: @daiwausa 3000 Ballistic and Sol
Rod: @daiwausa Isla Inshore 1/4-1
Lure: @bottomsweeperjigs 3/8 ounce Copperhead
