Is this the best and most authentic Italian food in Nashville? @delucanashville may be #1 in our book now! It’s not just because of the mouth watering delicious authentic Italian cuisine, but also for how they make you feel when you are inside their restaurant. The owner Angelo and staff here make in known that you are a guest and not just a customer or another number to them. This is by far the friendliest staff we have came across in our dining adventures! So between that and the fact that this was some of the most delicious food we have put in our mouth in a while is why this place is a must visit. From the filet that is just as good as Kayne Prime to the best Milanese that we’ve ever had, and we have not even mentioned the light crispy wood fired pizza or house made pasta yet! This is one of them places where you are going to have to go for yourself to get the experience to understand. When you do visit be sure to ask for John. The best waiter is the business.

• Calamari & Gamberi
Fresh calamari and jumbo shrimp lightly fried with Italian flour

• Margherita 🔥🔥🔥
San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil. (we added hot soppressata.)

• Cotoletta Milanese 🔥🔥🔥
Chicken, arugula, pomodoro confit.

• Filetto 🔥🔥🔥
8 oz center-cut filet mignon sliced to perfection.

• Fettuccine Romane 🔥🔥🔥
Homemade fettuccine with Chef’s creamy butter and parmesan sauce

• Mashed Potatoes 🔥🔥🔥
(New menu item. Homemade Italian style and absolutely delicious. These may be the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had!)

• Chef’s Chocolate Cake

We finally made it to @billssandwichpalace and we love this cute little sandwich shop. It fits amazing in the East Nashville neighborhood. There are some big time flavors coming out of that kitchen. All the bread was fresh and delicious along with the veggies! And the meats were juicy and cooked to perfection. The sandwich combinations are perfection!! The El Lechon was our favorite. That pork shoulder on the rosemary focaccia is delicious!

• EL LECHÓN
Roasted pork shoulder drizzled with mojo garlic sauce, unsmoked provolone, spicy pickles, mojo mayo, brown mustard, genoa salami, rosemary focaccia

• DRUNKEN MASTER
Crispy fried chicken thigh, vodka tomato sauce, vegetable pesto, caramelized mozzarella cheese blanket, garlic butter toasted Charpier’s sesame bun

• THAT’S CAP
Melted fresh mozzarella, caponata, roasted peppers, arugula, Charpier’s garlic toasted baguette

Finally another Mexican spot in Soho that isn’t Dos Caminos. Bar Tulix was recently opened by the same Chef as our fav @_oxomoco_ and is serving up high quality coastal inspired Mexican food in a chic and intimate setting. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, but the seafood dishes were clear standouts.

Think art meets jazz meets glamour meets food, and you have the Smyth Tavern - recently opened by the same owners as Lure Fishbar. We were blown away by the service at this place, and the food sure did not disappoint. Grab a quick drink at their swanky bar, and make sure to try the burger and the butter rolls…they will literally melt in your mouth.
