When you “Hope” it’s a two way outcome- Good or bad. but there’s a middle ground. I’ll explain...
Hope is essentially a gamble with our emotional investment, it’s the bridge between where we are and where we want to be, but it doesn’t always come with a safety net
The Good: When hope hits the mark it’s more than just something good, it validates the feeling that you can actually remain optimistic which eventually fuels you forthe next challenge.inst all logics, we hope...”
The bad: This is weightier because it is more than just the failure of what you’ve hoped for, the crash from the height of expectations.
Forcing you to either be realistic or pessimistic often time a defense mechanism.
Then there’s a middle ground: here hope leads to a bad outcome but this time it’s forces a pivot into something better than the original goal.
You didn’t get what you want but the process changes your perspective redirecting you to a better path.
